Led by Rong'er, Tian Yu returned to the Emperor's palace. As soon as she stepped through the palace gate, Tian Yu sensed something was wrong. The eunuchs at the gate had their heads bowed, looking very frightened, and the courtyard was filled with kneeling servants. Rong'er asked, "What happened?"

Tian Yu said she didn't understand, shook her head and continued walking inside when she heard the Emperor say, "The Empress has returned! Bring her up!"

Then several eunuchs came up and grabbed Tian Yu. Tian Yu struggled and was taken to the front of the emperor's palace. She saw the eunuchs who had been beaten and were covered in blood in front of the palace gate. Tian Yu looked in horror at Wu Yaohui, who was sitting on the steps with a whip in his hand.

"Where has the Empress gone again?"

"You killed someone?"

"Those few deserve to die! I'm asking you where you are?"

"Your Majesty, the Empress got lost and wandered into the Cold Palace. I found her and brought her back," Rong'er said.

"The Cold Palace?! It's you! Why don't you stay somewhere else?"

"Alright! This servant is only escorting the Empress back, I'll be going now." Rong'er said, quickly bowing her head and backing away.

"Come back. Did I say you could leave?"

Rong'er was so frightened that she knelt down on the spot again. Wu Yaohui looked at Tian Yu and said, "What is the Empress doing in the Cold Palace? Did she remember something?"

"No, I just got lost and wandered off somewhere," Tian Yu said.

"Lost? Did you see that wall you blew up?" Wu Yaohui stood up and slowly walked towards Tian Yu.

"I see...I see it!"

"Tell me how the explosives came about?" Wu Yaohui grabbed Tian Yu by the neck and asked.

Tian Yu slapped him hard with her hands and said with difficulty, "Let go of me, I don't know what you're talking about."

"Don't know? Fine, I'll let you think about it." Wu Yaohui released Tian Yu and said to the eunuch beside him, "Bring everyone up here!"

Tian Yu turned around and saw Eunuch Xu and several of his eunuchs being escorted in. Tian Yu was a little confused and looked at Wu Yaohui, asking, "What did they do wrong?"
