The next morning, Tian Yu woke up with a terrible headache and a burning stomach. She thought to herself that she would never drink again; it was too unpleasant. Tang Yuan brought her breakfast, but Tian Yu had no appetite and didn't want to eat anything. She drank some water but vomited it all up. She covered herself with the blanket and continued to lie down. Tang Yuan and Xiao Ju were worried about Tian Yu and stayed by her bedside, refusing to leave. Tian Yu then said to Tang Yuan, "Tang Yuan, Mother is getting married."

"Is it with Father or Uncle Chen?"

"Who does Tangyuan want her mother to be with?"

"Of course it's Daddy. Uncle Chen is also very good, but Tangyuan wants to be with Mommy and Daddy."

"So, who does Xiaoju think Mother should be with?"

"I don't know, Mother will just be with whoever she likes."

Tian Yu reached out and patted their heads, then continued to ask Tangyuan, "If Mommy wants to be with Uncle Chen, will Tangyuan be unhappy?"

"No, Mother has already explained to Father that we have agreed to live separately. Of course, if Tangyuan wants to stay with Father, Mother will not be angry."

"Okay," Tangyuan said with a forced smile, still feeling a little uncomfortable, while Xiaoju nodded happily.

Tian Yu thought it was good that she had given Tangyuan a heads-up beforehand, so even though he was a little unhappy now, it was still acceptable.

After that, Tangyuan was taken by Zhao Moyan to read and write. Tianyu saw that Zhao Moyan did not want to talk, so she did not provoke him and obediently stayed on the bed to rest, with Xiaoju by her side.

Tian Yu thought that there must be something important happening at the military camp, otherwise Li Yong wouldn't have left without eating lunch.

Feeling much better after drinking the hangover soup, Tian Yu got up to take a walk. Stepping out of her room, she realized it was almost noon. Remembering there were still a few people at home to eat, she washed up and went to the kitchen to see what to have for lunch. Most of the dishes she had prepared yesterday were gone, leaving only some braised pork offal and pork rib soup. Tian Yu thought about having noodles for lunch and asked Xiao Ju, who had been following her around. Xiao Ju agreed, so Tian Yu started preparing the dough and noodles, using the leftover pork rib soup and braised pork offal. The small green vegetables she had planted outside in the yard had already sprouted, though some were still small. Tian Yu picked the larger ones and added them to the noodles. After setting the table and serving the food, Tian Yu asked Xiao Ju to call Tangyuan and the others to come and eat.

Xiaoju led Tangyuan into the kitchen. Tangyuan said, "Daddy said he doesn't want to eat and wants to be alone."

"It's alright, you all sit down and eat first. I'll take it to your father's room," Tian Yu comforted Tangyuan, who seemed a little unhappy.
