Yu Yunzhi has been lukewarm in the entertainment industry. Despite starring in multiple hit dramas, he always fell just short of winning an award. After eight years in the industry, he had no negat...
Where did Zhizhi go?
As soon as Shao Wenyan stepped out of the study, he was stopped by his grandmother and mother, who held up a photo full of plum blossoms and asked him a question.
Shao Wenyan had been enslaved by his father all morning and hadn't had a chance to check his phone. He didn't know what had happened, so he opened his phone to see if there were any new messages.
Sure enough, as soon as he opened Weibo, a special contact popped up saying that Yu Yunzhi had posted a message to him, and WeChat also showed that Yu Yunzhi had sent him a message.
Shao Wenyan naturally opened WeChat to see what Yu Yunzhi had sent him.
Not only was there the photo that Grandma Shao had just shown him, but there were several other photos as well, interspersed with text messages from Yu Yunzhi.
First, there's a photo of the main gate of the school.
Yu Yunzhi: [I went to my mom's school today, which is also my alma mater. Even before I entered, the familiar feeling overwhelmed me.]
Yu Yunzhi: [So many teachers were talking to me, it was so embarrassing! I didn't know what to say.]
Yu Yunzhi: [Mom went to class, leaving Jiang Jiang and me in the office. So boring...]
About thirty or forty minutes after sending that message, Yu Yunzhi sent another picture of a small origami crane lying in his palm.
Yu Yunzhi: [I folded these, aren't they amazing? Teacher Zhang taught me, he's so talented! He knows so much, and he's incredibly patient with Jiang Jiang!]
Yu Yunzhi: [I just met a little fan. My mom brought her, and she's so cute!]
Then below are the photos that Grandma Shao just showed to Shao Wenyan.
Yu Yunzhi: [Let me show you an absolutely gorgeous plum blossom grove!]
Yu Yunzhi: [These weren't there when I was in school; it seems the school only started planting them after our graduating class.]
Below is the photo that Shao's mother took of Yu Yunzhi and Jiang Jiang.
Yu Yunzhi: [My mom made us look like we were split in half in the photos, but she thought it looked good.]
Yu Yunzhi: [I want you to take pictures for us...]
He posted a few more landscape photos, as well as a selfie of Yu Yunzhi. The last post was made five minutes ago.
Yu Yunzhi: [Let's go eat!]
Grandma Shao and Mrs. Shao watched the whole thing with Shao Wenyan. They looked at each other and saw a smile in each other's eyes that meant good things were coming.
Now they don't need to ask where their grandson/son Zhizhi went; they already know—he went back to his alma mater with Yu's mother.
Just as Shao Wenyan was about to reply to Yu Yunzhi's WeChat message, he noticed two other people standing next to him.
He glanced at Grandma Shao and Mama Shao, his eyes conveying a clear meaning. Grandma Shao and Mama Shao left dejectedly.
If you don't want to watch, then don't! Why look at them so much! They're getting more and more disrespectful as they grow up.
After watching the two "light bulbs" walk away, Shao Wenyan quickly typed a reply to Yu Yunzhi's WeChat message.
Why did you turn it on silent for no reason?! I only just saw all of Zhizhi's posts.
Yu Yunzhi didn't choose to eat at a restaurant or go home; she hadn't forgotten that one of the reasons she came here was to eat the snacks around the school!
It's almost noon now, and there are not only high schools, but also primary and middle schools nearby. The primary school students have all been dismissed for lunch, and the area is full of parents picking up their children.
Yu Yunzhi didn't dare to eat out, fearing a repeat of the blunder last time, so he prepared to pack some things to eat at home.
Everything seemed new and exciting to her, and she wanted to try everything. While queuing to buy snacks, Yu Yunzhi took out her phone to scan the payment code when she received a WeChat message from Shao Wenyan.
He sent several messages, but Yu Yunzhi was probably in line and didn't look at his phone at the time, so he didn't notice the first few.
Shao Wenyan first replied to the first few WeChat messages Yu Yunzhi sent, replying to each and every one of them.
...
Shao Wenyan: [Zhizhi is amazing! She folded it so well. Is Teacher Zhang a girl? Her hands are so skillful.]
...
Shao Wenyan: [There's no 50/50 split, Zhizhi looks good no matter what. I'll take pictures of you when you get back, okay?]
Shao Wenyan: [I had some work this morning. I just saw a message on my phone. Are you eating now?]
Yu Yunzhi: [It's okay! I'm in line to buy snacks right now!]
Yu Yunzhi sent Shao Wenyan a photo of himself carrying various snacks.
Shao Wenyan: Are you alone?
Yu Yunzhi: [No! My mom and Jiang Jiang are also there, they're waiting for me over there.]
Shao Wenyan: [It's cold outside, take it home and heat it up before eating, okay?]
Yu Yunzhi: [Got it.]
Yu Yunzhi: [Teacher Zhang isn't a girl, he's a boy. He's a month younger than me, but he knows so many things, and he's incredibly gentle. He speaks slowly and calmly. He can fold origami cranes, and he can do many other things too, but I've only learned how to fold origami cranes.]
Seeing that Shao Wenyan had misunderstood that Teacher Zhang was a girl, Yu Yunzhi quickly explained.
Shao Wenyan didn't expect that Yu Yunzhi's trip home would make him feel so threatened.
First, there was the older brother, her childhood sweetheart; then, the gentle and knowledgeable younger brother…
Shao Wenyan continued typing replies to Yu Yunzhi's WeChat messages, but in between replies, he started looking at the route to Yu Yunzhi's location.
Although Yu Yunzhi had never told Shao Wenyan where she lived, the first photo she sent to Shao Wenyan contained the name of her high school.
Since both Yu's parents are teachers, Shao Wenyan searched the area near the school and identified a residential complex. If he wasn't mistaken, Yu Yun's home was in this complex.
On Weibo, Yu Yunzhi's super topic is unusually lively today.
Because of a Weibo post she just made, some graduates of this high school immediately recognized it as their high school.
[I just saw the photos Yunbao posted, and I was thinking, "This scenery looks so familiar!" Then I realized, "Isn't this my alma mater?!" Then I discovered that Yunbao and I graduated from the same high school! What a coincidence! I'm actually Yunbao's direct junior!]
The plum blossom grove I've been admiring for three years appeared on my idol's Weibo, stirring up memories of my youth. It's a place I visit every winter!
I'm so envious of those of you who can be classmates with Yunbao...
So Yunbao went back to school today, right? [crying][crying] I was at school, how come I didn't see her? [crying][crying]
[I was at school too, and I didn't see her either. By the time I got the news, it was too late; Yunbao had already left. I heard that only one girl in Yunbao's mother's class saw Yunbao, and Yunbao even gave her an autograph. Yunbao's mother also gave the whole class the local specialties Yunbao brought back!!]
Who is so lucky to have Yoona's autograph?!
It's me! It's me! She's so incredibly kind!
[This is just too much envy; please delete...]
Excuse me, I know you don't do autographs. Do you sell local specialties? If not, could you ask your classmates if anyone sells local specialties?
[Hahahaha, sis, you're so funny! Maybe you have an extra one you could lend me?]
