Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
Shuiyuntai.
Lu Qingshan stood in mid-air, his Taoist robe billowing as he made hand gestures and chanted incantations.
The younger disciples of Qingyang Temple were excited. They had heard that many years ago, the temple master had invited the Sun Emperor to suppress immortals who had fallen into demonic ways.
Suddenly, the world fell silent.
Everyone was watching Lu Qingshan.
Lu Qingshan frowned. The Emperor did not respond to him. He opened his arms and shouted loudly, "Sun Emperor, your light shines upon the eight directions. Your disciple Qingshan respectfully beseeches your divine might!"
It was very quiet around.
The only sound was the little dumpling cracking sunflower seeds.
The disciples of Qingyang Temple dared not breathe, and some of the younger ones even doubted whether the previous rumors were true or false.
"The Emperor?"
Lu Qingshan's voice trembled.
The sky was originally clear and blue, but suddenly dark clouds covered Shuiyuntai, and Lu Qingshan's face turned ugly.
Gu Changsheng wasn't surprised; he had had the same experience. He chuckled and joked, "Senior, the Emperor is probably resting. You'd better not disturb him."
Qingyang Temple has always worshipped the Sun Emperor, and successive abbots have never failed to summon the deity. Now, however, the Emperor refuses to appear. Could it be that the spirit within Gu Changsheng is even stronger than the Emperor? Thinking of this, Lu Qingshan felt a chill run down his spine. He could only admit defeat, "Abbot Gu is far superior. This humble Taoist is convinced!"
Lu Qingshan reached out and retrieved his whisk, then turned and disappeared from Shuiyuntai. The junior disciples of Qingyang Temple were stunned. The Suanni roared angrily, and a group of juniors fled in panic.
In the blink of an eye.
The bright sunshine shone on Shuiyuntai once again.
The little dumpling threw the sunflower seed shells into the Suanni's mouth, pouted, and said, "This is it? I want to see rivers of blood."
Clang!
Qin Luo retaliated with a flick on the forehead.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"
The little dumpling covered its forehead.
Qin Luo frowned and said seriously, "Don't always think about fighting, we should value peace!"
The little dumpling nodded repeatedly, like a chick pecking at rice, "I know! I know! Harmony is the most important thing!"
Gu Changsheng returned to the lakeside, the flames on his body dissipated, and he returned to his original appearance. "Stone, if you had stayed at the Taoist temple and cultivated with me, you could have become just as powerful."
Stone's eyes were filled with admiration. He longed to become a strongman like Gu Changsheng, but he didn't want to stay at Huoyun Temple, nor did he want to cause trouble for Qin Luo. He said respectfully, "Thank you for your kindness, senior. I plan to continue my wandering. Big brother and sister Tuanzi have taught me a lot. I should not starve to death."
Qin Luo rubbed Shi Tou's head and chuckled, "If you don't want to stay at the Fire God Temple, then continue to follow me. I said I would help you find a suitable home."
"Uh-huh!"
Stone's eyes were filled with gratitude.
Gu Changsheng shook his head and sighed. In his opinion, Shi Tou was more hardworking than Yao Cheng and was very similar to Qin Luo.
"Stone, come help me catch bugs!"
"Alright!"
On the way back to the Fire God Temple, Xiao Tuanzi and Shi Tou caught all sorts of insects along the way and put them into bamboo tubes.
When they returned to the Fire God Temple, a large crowd of people had gathered outside. Gu Changsheng thought they were there to offer incense and pray for blessings, but he didn't expect that many of them wanted to eat roasted insects.
After entering the Taoist temple, Gu Changsheng said earnestly, "Yao Cheng, go and see how they roast insects. After they leave, you can roast insects to make money when you have free time, which will also improve the life of the Taoist temple."
"Disciple understands!"
Yao Cheng immediately ran out to study.
In the courtyard, Gu Changsheng said with a smile, "Junior brother, I didn't expect you to be so powerful now. The God of Fire dares not see you, and the Emperor of Qingyang Temple dares not show himself."
Qin Luo harbored no hostility towards the God of Fire and the Emperor. He wondered why they dared not show themselves, perhaps due to the deterrent effect of the Heavenly Dao fragments within them. He didn't dwell on it but instead reminded them, "Senior brother, you must also cultivate diligently and treat the people of this place kindly."
Gu Changsheng nodded, and said earnestly, "Junior brother, I hope you can enjoy life, cherish your life, and value yourself."
"good!"
Qin Luo nodded with a smile.
Afternoon.
After selling the roasted insects, Little Dumpling earned a lot of money and even gave Stone five copper coins.
Stone shouldered his bundle and the black pot, and Qin Luo stood outside the Taoist temple. He cupped his hands in farewell to Gu Changsheng, saying, "Senior brother, until we meet again!"
"Junior brother, take care!"
Gu Changsheng's eyes were filled with reluctance.
The little dumpling said crisply, "Big brother, remember to pay me when you come to the Purple Cloud Mountains."
"must!"
Gu Changsheng nodded with a smile.
As Qin Luo and his group were about to leave Yuzhou City, the little girl looked back, scratched her head, and muttered softly, "Why do I hear a dog barking?"
The stone looked around, but didn't see anything.
Qin Luo said softly, "Don't just focus on making money, you should also read more books."
Alright!
The little dumpling pulled out the Thousand Character Classic, pouted, and said, "Why is it so long?"
"Acquire a little knowledge every day, and over time it will become a great wealth."
"Immense wealth!"
The little dumpling blinked and happily swung her legs; she could already see mountains of gold and silver.
As Shi Tou listened to the little dumpling reciting the Thousand Character Classic, he also wanted to study, but not wanting to trouble Qin Luo, he could only silently follow behind.
evening.
Qin Luo and the others arrived at Shuiyuntai again. The little dumpling asked in confusion, "Huh, boss, why are we back again?"
"Let's go to Qingyang to take a look."
"Hehe, let's settle the score with them."
Qin Luo shook his head slightly and said softly, "We're going to pay a visit, not to cause trouble."
The little dumpling asked in confusion, "Why? Don't they have a bad relationship with Big Brother?"
Qin Luo nodded and explained with a smile, "It's better to resolve conflicts than to let them fester. Communication is the key to resolving disputes. As the saying goes, a close neighbor is worse than a distant relative."
