Qin Luo traveled to a world of cultivation where demons ran rampant. To protect himself, he came to the Dragon and Tiger Monastery to learn from a master, only to find out that his master was a swi...
Tiangan Institute.
There are fish swimming in the pond in the yard.
The little dumpling squatted by the pool, tilting her head, and asked, "Big brother, can we eat these fish?"
"These are ornamental fish. If you want to eat fish, there's a river near the yard where you can catch fish," Qin Luo reminded him with a smile.
"Yay!"
"I want to go to the river to catch fish!"
"Keep a low profile when you're out and about, and don't cause trouble."
"Okay!"
The little dumpling ran away barefoot.
Old Gao was cleaning the yard.
Qin Luo looked at Wan'er standing beside him, "Miss Wan'er, could you take me to the Censorate?"
"OK."
Wan'er nodded with a smile.
"What is Master Qin doing at the Censorate?"
"Deliver a letter for a friend."
"Such a small matter can be handled by your servant." Wan'er smiled gently, her voice soft and delicate.
Qin Luo shook his head slightly and said softly, "I have nothing to do, so I'd like to stroll around the city."
Wan'er bowed respectfully and said, "This servant will take Daoist Qin to the Censorate immediately."
Qin Luo and Wan'er left the Tiangan Courtyard and followed the bluestone steps out of the quiet mountain forest.
The surrounding area was filled with spiritual energy and lush vegetation. The bluestone steps were not wide, and Wan'er followed behind Qin Luo.
As they were about to leave the forest, they encountered two men of unusual appearance on the stone steps.
Qin Luo's heart suddenly raced.
He watched the two people walking towards him.
The young man was tall and slender, dressed in luxurious gold robes. He had handsome features and a faint golden light in his eyes, which inadvertently revealed an arrogant disdain for the world.
The middle-aged man was dressed in a simple gray Taoist robe. His hair was disheveled, but his eyes were bright and piercing. He carried a sword sheath without a sword on his back and had an approachable smile on his face.
Qin Luo smiled and nodded at them, then stood on the side of the road to let them pass.
Wan'er hadn't intended to make way for them, but when she saw Qin Luo standing by the roadside, she slowly moved to the side.
The young man's lips curled slightly upward as he passed by Qin Luo and sneered, "What's meant to be yours will be yours no matter what you don't want; what's not meant to be yours, you can't get no matter what you try."
Wan'er frowned.
She felt disrespected.
As Qin Luo watched the young man and the middle-aged Taoist priest walk away, he calmly asked, "Do you know them?"
Wan'er said respectfully, "The one who just spoke is the Crown Prince of the Great Zhen Dynasty, Qin Hao. The Taoist priest next to him is Yuan Qi, who is hailed by the Taoist Alliance as the number one Taoist in eight hundred years."
"Are they here to discuss doctrines?"
"That's right, not only are there powerful figures from all over Zhongzhou, but also important figures from the Immortal Realm."
Suddenly, Wan'er thought of something, her eyes filled with awe. She was Zhu Xian's personal maid and was well-informed. She knew that Qin Luo had recently killed the True Immortal and the Holy Son of Burial Sword Mountain.
Wan'er was surprised when Qin Luo made way for Qin Hao and Yuan Qi; Qin Hao and Yuan Qi should have made way even more.
Qin Luo could sense that Qin Hao was special; he possessed great fortune, no less than Zhu Xian in terms of luck.
Wan'er continued, "The Great Zhen Dynasty is the strongest dynasty in the north, and they worship gods."
Qin Luo had heard of the Great Zhen Dynasty before. Xu Wuyou's Dao Alliance was located in the Great Zhen Dynasty, and the Northern Thunder God he summoned was also from the north, so he was probably also in the Great Zhen Dynasty.
The Crown Prince of the Great Zhen Dynasty came to the capital of the Great Xia Dynasty to discuss the Dao, and one can imagine how intense this discussion was.
Qin Luo and Wan'er walked out of the mountains and forests. The streets were bustling. They passed through the outer city and came to the wide nine-arched bridge. Under the bridge was clear flowing water, as smooth as a mirror.
Does this river have a source?
Qin Luo stood on the bridge, looking at the flowing water below, his clear eyes reflecting the scenery on the bridge.
Wan'er shook her head and said softly, "This is the Milky Way. It has no source and no beginning or end."
"Tianhe" (Heavenly River).
Qin Luo murmured softly, and a bright blue light appeared beneath his feet, his water energy merging with the Milky Way.
After crossing the nine-arched bridge, there were guards in armor on the other side. Ordinary people were not allowed to go to the inner city, but with Wan'er there, the guards did not dare to stop them.
The streets of the inner city were wider, allowing ten carriages to travel side by side, and the palaces and pavilions were adorned with carved beams and painted rafters.
"The Zhang family."
Qin Luo looked at the mansion not far away.
Qin Luo knew that his master was related to the Zhang family in the capital. "Miss Wan'er, how is the Zhang family doing lately?"
Wan'er smiled and said, "The Zhang family has produced a sage, and a true sage at that. Thanks to their ancestors, they are doing quite well now."
What is a true saint?
Qin Luo looked puzzled.
Wan'er said respectfully, "True Saints grasp the true Dao; they are stronger than True Immortals."
"Does the capital have any true saints?"
Qin Luo also wanted to see the true Dao.
Wan'er frowned slightly and said softly, "As far as I know, there is a True Saint living in Qilong Lane."
"You can visit me when you have time."
"That old gentleman has an eccentric personality and doesn't even give face to the Emperor. I'm afraid it will be very difficult to see him."
"Um."
Qin Luo smiled slightly.
When leaving Longhu Temple, Zhang Fulong told Qin Luo that if he encountered trouble in the capital, he could seek help from the Zhang family. Qin Luo passed by the Zhang family, but he did not go in to visit, fearing that he might cause unnecessary trouble for them.
Near the Censorate, there were many departments. Qin Luo saw the Directorate of Astronomy, and a familiar figure walked out.
When Tang Yao saw Qin Luo, her eyes widened, and her excitement was palpable. "Master Qin!"
Qin Luo smiled slightly at her.
Tang Yao did not disturb Qin Luo. After leaving the Imperial Observatory, she ran into the distance.
Qin Luo and Wan'er arrived at the Censorate.
