The guards tensed up when they saw Wan'er. Qin Luo took out a letter from his pocket and smiled, "Please give this letter to Chu Peiran's father."
The guard trembled as he took the letter, and asked respectfully, "May I ask how you should address me, Daoist Master?"
"Longhu Temple, Qin Luo."
"I will deliver the letter to Lord Chu right away."
After delivering the letter, Qin Luo left the Censorate, jokingly remarking, "They seem quite afraid of you?"
Wan'er covered her mouth and chuckled, "Master Qin is joking. They are afraid of Her Highness the Princess."
Deep within the Censorate, Chu Hanlin was working in his room when a guard presented him with a letter. "My lord," the guard said, "this is a letter from Qin Luo of the Dragon Tiger Temple."
Chu Hanlin was somewhat surprised. When he took the letter, he found that it was written by Chu Peiran. He quickly opened the letter inside, which asked him to take care of Qin Luo in the capital.
"Who do you think your father is?"
Chu Hanlin held the letter and smiled bitterly.
The Censorate has many spies, and Chu Hanlin overheard some news. He knew that Qin Luo was a powerful figure who could rival the heavens. "You should write a letter to ask Master Qin to take care of your father."
Chu Hanlin wanted to invite Qin Luo to his home, but when he arrived outside, Qin Luo had already left.
It's still early.
Qin Luo decided to take a stroll around the capital.
Tang Yao ran wildly all the way into Wushang Temple and ran straight to the high-rise building where Hua Ying was.
Hua Ying sat cross-legged on the platform. She opened her eyes, looked at Tang Yao who was panting, and said softly, "Yao Yao, what's wrong? Why are you in such a hurry?"
Tang Yao said excitedly, "My lord, I just ran into Master Qin outside the Imperial Observatory."
"Qin Luo!"
Flower shadows bring joy to one's brow.
Did he go to the Imperial Observatory to find me?
Thinking of this, Hua Ying felt quite embarrassed, and she forced herself not to laugh.
Hua Ying said with a serious face, "Yao Yao, contact me with the jade talisman if you need anything. I'm going out for a walk."
"promise!"
Tang Yao said respectfully.
The flower shadows vanished in the blink of an eye.
When Hua Ying arrived at the Imperial Observatory, she did not encounter Qin Luo, so she asked the cultivators inside, "Are there any young Taoists here at the Imperial Observatory?"
"No!"
Everyone shook their heads.
One of the cultivators whispered, "My lord, the young Taoist priest has never been to the Imperial Observatory, only to the Censorate."
"......"
Hua Ying looked somewhat disappointed.
Did he go to Wushang Temple?
Qin Luo and Wan'er did not go to Wushang Temple; instead, they went to Daxia Academy, where the sound of students reciting their lessons could be heard outside.
