A hint of embarrassment flashed in Shu Lingyi's eyes, and he coughed lightly, saying, "I've thought it through."

Si Tingyu stood up: "Let's go."

"So fast?"

Seeing his decisiveness, Shu Lingyi's displeasure resurfaced. "Tingyu, do you really want to sever ties with my sister?"

He didn't want his sister to get married so early, but Si Tingyu's eagerness made him very unhappy.

"..."

Si Tingyu looked at him speechlessly.

Do all men who have younger sisters become so awkward and schizophrenic?

Shu Lingyi raised his hand to touch his nose, and said awkwardly, "Let's go."

The two grown men strolled away from the club.

Before they got into their cars, Shu Lingyi still asked worriedly, "Tingyu, what excuse will you use to break off the engagement?"

"I have someone in my heart."

Si Ting Yu Dao.

Shu Lingyi looked at him with some emotion, "You sacrificed so much to fulfill my request?"

Si Tingyu is a pure workaholic, and he's incredibly cold to women. He doesn't believe he's ever really interested in any woman.

"It's true."

Si Tingyu emphasized: "I want to settle down with her."

Shu Lingyi's mouth dropped open in shock, and it took him a while to find his voice: "When did this happen?"

I've never heard him mention this before. Is it because he's been keeping it a secret, or is it something that happened recently?

"That happened during this business trip."

Si Tingyu said.

"Then who is she...?"

"I don't know, we're still looking."

As if knowing what Shu Lingyi was about to say, Si Tingyu interrupted.

"You mean you only caught a glimpse of her and didn't even know her name or where she lived?"

Shu Lingyi was even more surprised.

Is Si Tingyu the kind of person who would decide he can't live without her just because he fell in love at first sight?

It doesn't seem like it.

But judging from his appearance, it didn't seem like he was acting.

"Tingyu, be careful, she might be someone else's doing."

Shu Lingyi was both happy that his brother had found a woman he liked, and annoyed that his brother had fallen for someone else despite being betrothed to his sister. These two conflicting emotions left him feeling complicated, and he felt compelled to speak up and remind his brother.

"Don't worry, I'll check."

Si Ting Yu Dao.

Shu Lingyi knew his abilities, so she didn't say anything more.

But the displeasure in his heart still wouldn't go away.

"Can't you hesitate even a little bit when I make a request?"

He looked at Si Tingyu and finally voiced his dissatisfaction.

Si Tingyu was both amused and exasperated. "Ling Yi, we've known each other since we were little. You should know that I'm a straightforward person."

"I readily agreed because I only considered Xue Ru as a younger sister."

He explained.

Shu Lingyi scoffed, "You've never even met her, how do you know you only see her as a younger sister?"

Si Tingyu simply looked at him calmly.

No matter how good Yu Mowan is, it has nothing to do with him. All he wants to do now is resolve the issue of the arranged marriage.

"Let's go, let's go."

Shu Lingyi waved and got into the car.

Now that Si Tingyu has found a woman he's interested in, he no longer needs to worry about anything.

The two got into the car and drove to the Shu family's house.

"Big brother, Brother Si."

Having received news that Si Tingyu was coming, Shu Xueyin waited in the parking lot early on. When she saw him get out of the car, her innocent almond-shaped eyes lit up.

She had a crush on Si Tingyu for many years and dreamed of becoming his betrothed to him.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard Fu Rong tried, Yun Yun wouldn't budge.

Why are you standing here?

Shu Lingyi said.

"Big brother, I knew you were coming back, so I was waiting for you here."

Shu Xueyin smiled and said sweetly.

Shu Lingyi said absentmindedly, "Xueyin, you're very thoughtful."

He gave her face and didn't expose Shu Xueyin's little scheme.

Even if her younger sister and Si Tingyu don't end up together, it won't be Shu Xueyin's turn.

It wasn't because she was unworthy of him, but because Si Tingyu had absolutely no other feelings for her.

Shu Xueyin walked over and tried to take Shu Lingyi's hand, but he quietly walked over to Si Tingyu to avoid her.

"Brother Si, did you just get back from your business trip?"

Shu Xueyin said nonchalantly.

As long as she doesn't feel embarrassed, no one will say anything.

"Um."

Si Tingyu's expression was indifferent, and his words were concise and to the point.

Shu Xueyin was not discouraged and continued to look for opportunities to talk to him, "Brother Si, you..."

"Xueyin, where's Wanwan?"

Shu Lingyi interrupted her, casually changing the subject: "Is she home?"

"Oh? Oh, my sister went out."

Shu Xueyin paused for two seconds, concealing the displeasure in her eyes, and said.

Shu Lingyi only wanted to interrupt Shu Xueyin's attempt to get closer to Si Tingyu, but he didn't expect Yu Mowan to be absent. He frowned and asked, "Who did she go out with?"

They took Yu Mowan out, but none of them thought of inviting her.

How could she not feel jealous and heartbroken?

She called them "brother" more often, but as soon as Yu Mowan returned, she easily stole their affection.

If she did it effortlessly, then what about all her efforts over the years?

Is it a waste of effort to throw money down the drain?

"It would be nice to go for a stroll."

Shu Lingyi said.

When Shu Xueyin saw that Shu Lingyi hadn't mentioned why the other three, including Shu Lingyin, hadn't brought her along, her grievances were amplified even more.

Her eyes slowly reddened, making her look somewhat pitiful.

Unfortunately, neither Shu Lingyi nor Si Tingyu, being two straight men, saw it and walked ahead on their own.

Upon seeing this, Shu Xueyin nearly bit the meat in her mouth to pieces.
