As the only surviving experiment in the lab, a certain kitty secretly escaped. Perhaps favored by the goddess of luck, the kitty fled to a place where its life would no longer be threatened by those strange lab coats and cold instruments.

However, it also encountered someone who seemed like they might threaten its life.

Yan Xuanjin returned from a mission only to find an unidentified creature in the base. It had a fluffy appearance, a body that was almost pure white except for gray ears, and eyes as bright as sapphires. The little fella seemed well-behaved, and comrades in the squad rather liked it.

But Yan Xuanjin did not succumb to the soft, fluffy charm. After personally witnessing this little fella effortlessly bypass all of the base's defenses and swagger into a military vital area via surveillance footage, Yan Xuanjin made a decision:

he would personally oversee this seemingly harmless but dangerous creature of unknown origin. Although he intended to monitor this little beast, the Empire's strongest Sentinel, Yan Xuanjin, still unknowingly became enchanted by it. This is the story of the world's only cloned kitten being pursued by the Empire's strongest sentinel.
