"Qing'er, stop here and wait for me." Jin Jianzhong greeted him and walked towards the short, stout figure.
It was none other than his good friend Fan Lilun from Hungary.
"Sir Van Lilun, why are you wandering around here so late instead of resting in your room?" Jin Jianzhong said with a smile.
"I've been looking for you, Brother Jianzhong. Your mansion is so big, I've been looking for you for ages." Fan Lilun said with a smile on his bearded face.
"Just tell a maid, what's wrong? What do you want from me?" Jin Jianzhong asked.
“Brother Jianzhong, when you first came to my house, I didn’t treat you like this, have you forgotten?” Fan Lilun chuckled softly.
"All the way here, I've been...hehe," he said, rubbing his belly.
Jin Jianzhong immediately understood what he meant, and he smiled and said, "Oh, I see."
"Sorry, sorry. I came to chat with my second brother right after finishing my wine and forgot about this matter. Tomorrow, I'll take you to Xiuyuan. It's a nice place."
"I will definitely satisfy you."
Fan Lilun touched his nose and remained silent.
Seeing his expression, Jin Jianzhong knew he was unhappy. Thinking of this, he put his arm around Fan Lilun's shoulder and laughed:
"Okay, okay, I understand."
"Go back to your room first, and I'll make arrangements for you right away."
Upon receiving these words, Fan Lilun smiled slightly, gave them an appreciative look, and left.
Jin Jianzhong smiled and shook his head, then turned and walked towards Qing'er.
Reaching her in front of him, Jin Jianzhong lifted Qing'er's chin with one hand. His eyes, half-closed with drunkenness, he looked at the striking face before him and chuckled softly:
"Since you came to the Prince's mansion, you've been living quite well."
"They say that you become like those you associate with, and you become like those you associate with. After you followed Yongning, you've grown into a beauty just like her."
Qing'er bit her lip lightly, took a step back, and whispered, "This servant is nothing more than an ordinary person."
"Your Highness, it's late. You should go back and rest early."
"This servant must also go back now. Miss has not yet gone to sleep. She is still reading and practicing calligraphy. This servant needs to grind ink for Miss."
Jin Jianzhong scoffed dismissively, "Fiddling with this thing again."
"Oh, right, I brought some clothes for Yongning. Come with me to get them. I want to see what Yongning looks like in them tomorrow."
As he spoke, he grabbed Qing'er's hand and walked straight outside.
Qing'er already knew the Third Prince's usual habits, so she quickly broke free from his grasp and backed away, saying:
"Your Highness, please let me tell Miss that she is waiting for me."
Jin Jianzhong raised an eyebrow, and anger instantly surged to his head.
Two years ago, he had developed feelings for this maid, but he didn't have the chance to make a move because of Yongning.
Now that she's being brought up again, Jin Jianzhong's drunkenness intensified, and his anger rose higher and higher.
"You brat, come here right now!"
"I'll take you to see the world and let you try some new things."
Qing'er's face was pale, and without thinking, she ran straight outside.
Jin Jianzhong became even angrier when he saw her run away. He had promised Fan Lilun and was planning to enjoy her with him. How could she run away like that?
I'm going to get my hands on it tonight, no matter what!
Even if Yongning blames me afterward, I can't care. She's just a maid. There are people everywhere in Jinling!
Who could resist someone they've set their sights on?!
Jin Jianzhong strode forward to chase after her, but the little maid seemed to be running like a ghost. He couldn't understand how an ordinary maid could run so fast.
Jin Jianzhong shook his head, thinking that perhaps he had drunk too much, which was why it was so difficult for him to catch up.
"Stop right there! If you run again, I guarantee you won't see the sun rise tomorrow!" Jin Jianzhong roared.
Upon hearing this, Qing'er ran even faster.
"You brat! You want to die, don't you?!"
Jin Jianzhong gritted his teeth, exerted all his strength, and chased after them.
Just as I rounded a corner, a foot suddenly lashed out.
With a "thud," Jin Jianzhong was kicked in the lower abdomen and flew backward.
Before he could even get up, he was kicked in the side of the face again. Before Jin Jianzhong could even see who kicked him, he was knocked unconscious.
Only then did a cold rebuke rang out:
"A leopard can't change its spots!"
"Two years have passed, and you're still a lecherous scoundrel."
Jin Changge left without looking back, his face cold as he pulled Qing'er away.
