A moment later.
A dozen sharp gazes, like knives, pierced him. Lu Wang took a deep breath before recounting what he had seen and heard during his arduous work over the past few days.
When he heard that there were indeed ships anchored in the port, Lucat stroked his chin, his expression becoming increasingly serious.
Augustus, however, looked relaxed and simply nodded repeatedly, while Müller remained silent, sitting upright in his chair and listening quietly.
"We were held up like this for several days until yesterday morning when they finally let us return." After some time, Rwan finally recounted everything without missing a single detail.
Augustus nodded to him and smiled, "Yes, very well done."
Then he turned to look at everyone, tapped the table with his index finger, and asked, "What do you all think?"
"They invited us over."
Lucate fiddled with his fingers and said casually, "Invite us over? I don't see what you mean by inviting us over."
“Hmm?” Augustus frowned and looked at Lucate.
Lucat turned his gaze to Luvan, who was standing at the table, and said, "I feel that things are not that simple."
"They won't genuinely want us to go to their country."
Under Lucat's gaze, Luvan hurriedly said, "I'm telling the truth! I'm not lying!"
Lucat shook his head and reassured, "Don't be nervous, it's not about you."
"It's really unusual that they let you come back like this, and even let you know their secrets and come back to deliver a message."
Luwang was taken aback, but then said, "We have so many warships, how dare they not let me return?"
"and......"
Before he could finish speaking, Augustus interrupted, laughing heartily:
"Kid, you can't even understand this simple principle?"
Augustus stood up, spread his arms, spun around, and laughed loudly, "Are there enough warships here?!"
"And who are we?"
He pointed at the silent Muller: "Admiral of the Delta Federation Navy!" Then he pointed to himself: "Marshal of the Ocean Lion Fleet of the Hunnic Empire on the Leon Continent!"
Then, Augustus squinted at Lucat, raised his chin and smiled, saying, "You are also the naval admiral of the Kingdom of Shenglu."
“And them.” Augustus glanced around, then placed his hands on the table, leaned down to look at Lucate, and said:
"Given our current fighting strength and the power of the country behind us, how much courage would he have to prevent them from returning if he launches a major offensive?"
"They have two or three hundred warships anchored in their port, plus those patrolling the coastal waters, I'd say four or five hundred."
"Given their obvious lack of strength, are they still unable to recognize the reality of the situation?"
Lucat shook his head and said in a deep voice, "That's just what you think."
"What do you mean by inviting us over? That's just a trick to lure us there."
"You don't actually believe that, do you? Two or three hundred warships in the port? I can tell with my little finger that it's definitely an illusion."
Augustus's face turned ugly, and he said coldly, "What else?"
“I don’t know how many ships there are, but I imagine there are quite a few. What I do know is that they are definitely trying to lure us over there. ‘Lure,’ you understand? Don’t tell me you don’t understand what that means.”
"What do you mean, 'lead'...!" Augustus suddenly attacked, only managing to utter three words before Muller abruptly interrupted:
"Yes."
He's absolutely right.
Augustus froze, then turned to look at Muller.
Muller, with a stern face, said slowly, "They are not afraid of our strength, at least not until they have tasted the bitterness of it."
These words made Augustus blush immediately, and he shouted:
"Why aren't you afraid?!"
"Their patrol boats spotted our fleet earlier!"
"Rwanda has already told them everything we had to say!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Lucate leaned back in his chair, looked up at the seagulls flying overhead, and said calmly:
"This shows they are fearless. Either these people are very competitive, or they are very confident. And what is the source of their confidence? It must be their powerful military strength."
“We have seen some of their military strength, but it is by no means all of it. What Rwanda has seen is only what they want Rwanda to see.”
"Don't talk about two or three hundred warships. I think the most likely scenario right now is that they are transferring more warships from other ports."
"When we excitedly arrive with our fleet, they will have to fight us with their powerful navy."
These words made Luwang, who was waiting to the side, break out in a cold sweat. In fact, when he went to the near sea and was met by the other side to go to the port, he was not fearless because of the identity he represented. On the contrary, he was very nervous.
After all, they had landed in a foreign country, and the soldiers of this country did not seem weak; their speech always revealed a strange confidence.
Only after Lucate said that did he realize that he had truly gone through fire and water on this trip.
Now, after Lucat finished speaking, everyone at the table had a serious expression, clearly indicating that they also agreed with Lucat's words.
This undoubtedly put Augustus in an awkward position, and he said, his face flushed:
"What do you mean now? Are you saying that their military strength is so great that they are not afraid of people from countries like ours?"
Just as he finished speaking, a chilling laugh suddenly rang out.
