Edman pondered for a moment, then shouted:
"Quickly! Get me on the ship right now!"
With his decisive and efficient manner, he immediately ran towards the small boat after saying this, and with the sailors rowing frantically, Edman quickly boarded the warship.
He ordered the fleet to continue sailing in battle line, and then commanded his ship to break formation and accelerate toward the forefront of the battle line.
After some time, Edman transferred to the forward warship, where his second-in-command Vincent was already on board.
Upon seeing Edman board the ship, Vincent hurriedly said, "Commander, they are getting further and further away from us. It seems they have discovered our fleet, turned around, and are moving away from us."
Edman's face flushed slightly, a color of excitement, and he continued:
"If I'm not mistaken, that should be a warship from the Yan Kingdom."
Vincent nodded and said, "That's what I thought too, but how did they end up here?"
Edman looked at the sea through the binoculars and muttered:
"How did they end up here? Vincent, you know the Yan people won the last battle, which has undoubtedly emboldened these guys a lot. They're exploring the open ocean."
"It seems this country also wants to conquer this sea."
Vincent nodded. Edman lowered the binoculars and continued, "I can't quite make out the number of their warships, Vincent. Are you sure you just got a rough idea of how many warships they have? Only a hundred or two?"
Vincent immediately replied, "Yes, Commander, I'm not the only one who estimated this number; others have made the same judgment."
"But considering that you are not on board, I did not take any action just to be on the safe side, and our ship is not currently sailing at full speed."
As soon as he finished speaking, Edelman burst into laughter.
"Why is the commander laughing?" Vincent asked, puzzled.
