"Damn it! You are..." Leto, who was defending Lucate, was furious and was about to draw his sword when he was stopped by a roar.
"Put your swords back, all of you!"
With that roar, a loud "bang" echoed as Clemento slammed his hand on the table. His previously composed face now contorted into a ferocious expression, and the murderous intent in his eyes was almost tangible.
“Alright, let’s not have any pointless arguments at this time. It won’t do any good,” Winston said, standing next to Clemento. He was more than ten years older than Clemento, with slightly graying temples, but still a tall and strong man.
"Didn't you hear me?!" Clemento shouted angrily.
Leto remained silent, lowering his hand from the hilt of his sword. Federic glared fiercely at Lucat and Leto before sheathing his sword.
"You haven't even fought the Yan Kingdom people yet, and you're already fighting amongst yourselves! What kind of nonsense is this?! Have you completely forgotten your mission?!" Clemento roared angrily.
Unlike Clemento, who was visibly angry, Winston was much calmer. He continued Clemento's words and offered some words of advice:
"Gentlemen, let's not forget the purpose of our trip. We need to unite and defeat the Yan Kingdom's fleet. If the Yan Kingdom people knew that we were arguing here, they would definitely laugh at us."
"I hope that none of you here will forget who our real enemy is," Winston said, looking around at the crowd.
Federich's face was grim, his gaze fixed on the messy table.
Lucate shrugged and said, "Alright, let's get back to business." He then looked at Clemento.
Clemento said coldly, "There are fleets from our three countries here now. Even if we can't join the Federation fleet for the time being, we are still a powerful force."
"Our lateness has indeed kept the Federation fleet waiting for far too long, but that is an unchangeable fact. We are now halfway through our voyage, and today is September 19th. We cannot wait any longer."
Upon hearing this, Lucat frowned.
Clemento then said, "Since the Federation fleet has already pursued the Yan Kingdom fleet, let's go directly there too. They are sailing towards the South China Sea. Whether they are returning or not, we will meet them on the way. In that case, let's just go directly there and meet up at sea. There's not much difference."
Hearing this, Lucate said, "But don't we need...?"
Before he could finish speaking, Clemento said coldly, "There's no need for rest! The storm has long since passed!"
Lucat spread his hands helplessly and said, "Sorry, that's not what I meant."
“Then what is it?” Winston asked.
"If that fleet really came from Yan Kingdom, and the Federation fleet pursued it, then let's assume that the Federation fleet caught up with them and fought a naval battle with them. Through this battle, we can learn the latest intelligence about the Yan Kingdom fleet, such as how many warships they have and how strong their long-range combat capabilities are."
“This is all valuable intelligence, isn’t it?” Lucate looked at Clemento.
After he finished speaking, Federich sneered, "Well said, but it's all hypothetical."
"It seems like a perfect solution, but if we keep waiting, who knows how long it will take!"
"My thoughts are the same as Marshal Clemento's. Now that we're here, let's not waste any more time and head straight for the South China Sea!"
“Besides, if we encounter the Federation fleet at sea, won’t we also be able to obtain the latest intelligence?” He squinted at Lucate.
Lucart hesitated, but Winston, seeing his hesitation, said, "Speak, Marshal Lucart."
Lucate glanced at Pam before speaking, "Hypothetically, I mean hypothetically, what if the Federation fleet..."
Before he could finish speaking, Clemento raised his hand to interrupt: "No need to say anything more, Lucate."
"Our enemies are not that scary. We can handle them perfectly well now!"
"This punitive expedition is led by my Sa Ri Kingdom. If any of you have any objections, you may return home and speak with your emperor after it is over. But now, I order all of you to set sail first thing tomorrow morning!"
No sooner had he finished speaking than Federich grinned and said, "The whale fleet will definitely follow."
Lucate rubbed his temples, and after a couple of breaths, he sighed softly, "I understand."
Clemento looked at Pam, then at the hundred or so Federation warships at sea, and said:
"As for you, I make no demands."
“I know you only obey your commander. I don’t want to force you. If you want to wait, then stay here and wait. Of course, it’s possible that we will encounter your fleet at sea, and they will definitely travel with us. You will be waiting in vain.”
"But if you'd like to sail with us tomorrow, you'd be very welcome."
You have one night to think about it.
Pam remained silent, so Clemento looked at the others and solemnly warned them:
"Listen up, everyone. The Yan Kingdom fleet has begun its voyage. We may encounter them at any time during the second half of the voyage. Therefore, we need to remain vigilant at all times and immediately enter combat mode once we encounter them."
"This is not a battle in the coastal waters of Yan Kingdom, but in the ocean that we are more familiar with. We have a large number of warships that can exert strong combat power, so you don't need to be too nervous. The most important thing is to maintain internal stability and absolutely not allow any more conflicts to arise."
"I don't want to see what happened today again. I just want to see those Yan people die in our artillery fire! For the rest of the voyage, I hope none of you will be a burden to the Allied Forces!"
