Dingle, I think you should take over command.” In the demoralized operations room, Lieutenant General Harbo looked at Dingle, who was squatting on the ground holding his head.
As an aide to Bernhardt, a veteran in his sixties, Dingle was actually not that old; in fact, he was considered young among the officers, having just turned thirty this year.
He could almost be called an outstanding representative of the middle generation of officers, and with Bernhardt no longer able to command, Harber could only entrust the next battle plan to him.
As Lieutenant General Harbor finished speaking, the other officers all turned to look at Dingle.
Dingle remained silent, still squatting on the ground with his head down, motionless.
As Lieutenant General Harbor walked toward him, he said, "Foster has fallen, and the Yan people have already entered the country. So the fleet that left last night must have gone to Foster Harbor to land."
"I think we need to deploy troops as soon as possible for a new round of defense, and we can't allow any more Yan people to enter the country."

Others chimed in.

Lieutenant General Harbor was taken aback and asked, "That's... a preemptive strike?"
Dingle's face was grim as he said, "The loss of control of the sea means that we can no longer prevent more of their troops from landing. We are now in a passive position."
"But they have completely taken the initiative, and if we want to switch the offensive and defensive positions, we have no choice but to take the initiative to fight them."
"Fight a war of annihilation! Eliminate as many of their personnel already in the country as possible! This is the only way to weaken their strategic advantage!"
