Gu Xuanyi carried his things and ran into his maternal grandparents' house. The neighbors were envious when they saw the two grandsons of the Shen family.
"Come in quickly, are you hot? There's a watermelon at home, Grandma will cut it for you."
Grandma Shen was quite happy to see her two tanned grandsons.
Both of my sons have moved out, and the house feels rather deserted.
"Grandma, don't bother, we just ate and can't eat anymore."

Grandpa Shen asked about life in the south, but didn't inquire about anything else. After what happened last time, his daughter had become estranged from them.
The two children stayed to chat with the two elderly people for a while, and only went home after having lunch.
Grandma Shen wanted the two of them to stay for a few days, but Xuanyu said he still had homework to finish and needed to go back to catch up.
"Our children aren't close to us anymore!"
