Bonnie is unsure whether it's because of her pregnancy or her worry about Gu Ye, but lately she's been irritable and a bit out of control.
"Baoni, Grandma made pear soup. Come and have some, you've been feeling a bit feverish lately."
"I understand, Grandma."
Bonnie came over listlessly. She knew it wasn't good, but she just couldn't control herself.
"Grandma, it's delicious. Where is Gu Ye now? Why hasn't he come back yet? If he doesn't come back soon, the baby will be born. Gu Ye, why haven't you come back yet? Waaah..."
Bonnie couldn't help but burst into tears. In the later stages of her pregnancy, she experienced leg cramps, her belly was pressing against her stomach, and she couldn't eat much. Bonnie was hungry every day.
"Waaah... Gu Ye, please come back soon, I miss you, and baby misses you too."
Grandma knew Bonnie was upset and had been holding it in, afraid of worrying her. "It's good to cry it out; it'll make you feel better."
Gu Ye stood outside the door, covered in dust and dirt, and felt a sharp pain in his heart when he heard Bao Ni crying inside.
"Bonnie, I'm back. Don't cry, or you'll have another little crybaby."
Bonnie heard the sound, looked up and saw Gu Ye looking disheveled, and "Pfft." snorted out a snot bubble, "Haha..."
Gu Ye looked at Bonnie, whose eyes were red and nose was red, snorted a snot bubble, and couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Quickly find some toilet paper and hand it to Bonnie.
"Hiccup...hiccup..." Whether she was startled by Gu Ye or by the snot bubble, Bonnie kept hiccuping.
"Silly girl, I'm back. Thank you for your hard work."
"Hiccup, you've gotten uglier!"
Bonnie gave Gu Ye a disdainful pat, saying he looked so thin, hadn't he eaten?
"hehe……"
The two exchanged a knowing smile, and everything was understood without a word!
