I rented a place near the appliance store for work convenience. Initially, it was for convenience, as the store itself was too far from the compound.

"I won't. I traded all my luck for this. Bonnie and the child are my everything. There's nothing I can say now. I hope you hold onto the last line of the law and resist temptation. I don't want to have to go behind walls to see you one day."
You've already ruined the children's home; don't let them suffer any more because of you. You know, many things require background checks.
That's all Gu Ye could say. They're all adults; they understand everything.
"I know. Please ask Bonnie to take good care of Wei Hong. I'm counting on you, brother."
"Alright, if you knew this would happen, you shouldn't have done it in the first place."
The two ate their meal in silence, and afterwards, they went in different directions.
