Chapter 60 Bonnie is Mighty

The man speaking appeared to be in his early twenties, and seemed to be their leader.

“I don’t care about capitalists or their descendants. All I know right now is that there’s a military wife who is about to give birth. It’s very dangerous, and she needs Dr. Yang, who is skilled in medicine, to deliver the baby.”

Bonnie didn't have time to argue with them about class background; time was of the essence, and Sister-in-law Fu couldn't wait.

"You two are in cahoots. You're also a descendant of capitalists, so shouldn't we arrest you too?"

"Clang, crash..."

Bonnie kicked the shouting Red Guard far away, sending him crashing onto the washbasin stand.

"Dr. Yang, Sister Fu is already in the delivery room. Her water broke. Please go quickly, otherwise it could be dangerous."

"Okay, Bonnie, I'll go right away."

"No, we can't let her go. Stop them."

Bonnie knocked down the young revolutionaries blocking her way, clearing a path for Dr. Yang so she could pass quickly.

The remaining young soldiers, looking at the incredibly brave Bonnie, were a little intimidated and hesitant to approach. Several others were lying on the ground, groaning in pain. They hadn't expected this seemingly frail woman to be so formidable.

"What are you looking at? Go get her, arrest her, and take her back for public criticism."

The man who had been kicked to the ground by Bonnie, enraged, shouted and ordered his henchmen to arrest Bonnie.

Despite their fear, the few people standing around still surrounded Bonnie after hearing what the junior leader said.

Bonnie got into position and kicked them one by one. Before they could surround her, they were all knocked to the ground by Bonnie's kicks.

"Bonnie, how is Bonnie? We heard that some Red Guards came to the clinic to cause trouble."

A group of women carrying brooms, sticks, and ropes rushed in, shouting and yelling.

"Oh my god, why are they all lying on the ground?"

"Bonnie, did you beat all of these people down?"

The sisters-in-law couldn't believe that Bonnie had done it, but there was no one else in the house!

“Sister-in-law, give me the rope, I’ll tie them up. Who’s going to go to the military base to find the leaders? How did these guys get into the family compound? They’re so arrogant.”

Without saying a word, Bonnie took the rope her sisters-in-law had brought and tied the little soldiers on the ground together.

"You dare to kidnap a young revolutionary? Just wait and see how I deal with you later!"

The one in charge was quite defiant, threatening Bonnie.

"Smack!"

Bonnie casually slapped him, making his face twist.

“Revolutionary young soldiers are there to protect the leaders and the people. What kind of revolutionary young soldier are you? This family compound is full of military families. Our men are at the front protecting our country. What right do you have to come here and spout nonsense?”

Bonnie's righteous words silenced the group of youngsters, who dared not shout any more.

Knowing full well they were young revolutionaries, she still dared to treat them like this; this woman must be extraordinary.

The young man who was leading the group had half his face swollen up, and he was starting to lose his composure, no longer daring to shout.

Bonnie heard the footsteps of soldiers approaching outside and knew that the matter was over.
