"Go ahead, I'll keep an eye on things."
Grandpa came out of the house and beckoned Liu Jiu over.
Liu Jiu waved goodbye to her parents. She was used to it; her mother would leave as soon as she returned to her mother's house.
"Gu Ye, over here."
Bonnie led Gu Ye into the cave, took out her swimsuit, and prepared to change.
"You're quite impressive. This place is so well hidden; most people wouldn't be able to find it."
"I discovered this by chance when I was a child, and I gradually made changes to it. Many of the trees outside were planted by myself. It's hard for most people to imagine that there's a hidden world behind these trees and bushes."
Bonnie was proud of her own masterpiece.
"Awesome! My Bonnie is awesome!"
Gu Ye teased Bao Ni and changed into his swimsuit.
"Let's go, let's dive down from here."
Bonnie led the way, with Gu Ye following behind.
The wooden stakes that Bonnie had driven in earlier were still there; they hadn't been washed away or loosened. It seems that having great strength does have its advantages.
The two floated to the surface. "Bonnie, did you hammer these wooden stakes in?"
"Well, I plan to build two bamboo rafts. In a little while, I'll need to drive in more than ten wooden stakes."
With Gu Ye's help, the speed was much faster. After all, Gu Ye was an excellent naval officer, and he knew how to do things better.
"Alright, let's leave it like this for now. Let the seawater wash over us for a few days. If we can stand up, then we'll be fine."
"It should be fine."
The two caught some seafood and then went up the mountain for a walk. Surprisingly, they were lucky enough to catch a pheasant.
"There's no time for lunch, so we'll have an extra meal tonight."
When they got home, Liu Jiu was the happiest. He plucked off the long feathers from the chicken's tail and gave one to each of his brothers.
In the evening, the family enjoyed a hearty meal; life with fish and meat is wonderful!
