Shen Huaichuan immediately denied it, his tone resolute.
"It's my fault. I've been so busy lately that I forgot about the Lin family. They took advantage of the situation and went to my parents to spread rumors, causing you to suffer."
He admitted his mistake with utmost sincerity and took full responsibility upon himself.
Zhou Qiqi felt a little better, but her worries remained:

Shen Huaichuan sighed; he had already come up with a plan:
