"Thank you for helping me!"
"You're welcome. Anyone would help in this situation."
"That's just my cousin's personality. She's fearless and will throw a tantrum if things don't go her way!"
“I’ve experienced it firsthand, so I know.”
“If you hadn’t mentioned it, I would have forgotten. You two had a falling out.” Tao Lihua leaned against the wall. “Let’s get back to the point. Has something happened to that child?”
Lu Zhixia said, "My child was switched at birth, and I raised someone else's child for 10 years. I only found out recently, so I have to find my child."
Tao Lihua had guessed that something had happened to the child, but she never expected it to be so exaggerated and outrageous as she had imagined.
"What do you mean by saying you raised someone else's child for 10 years?!"
Lu Zhixia said, “My ex-husband substituted another child for my child. I was kept in the dark until that child let it slip. Then I took his blood and tested his blood type.”
Tao Lihua struggled to process everything she had said, then fell into memories of 10 years ago. The baby was very beautiful when he was born, but his mother fell into a coma due to severe bleeding.
Then she helped take care of the baby. Actually, all newborns are pretty much the same. She thought carefully and suddenly remembered the baby's arm, so she looked up and said...
"Your child has a birthmark on his right arm, shaped a bit like a butterfly. I took a few glances at it back then. I thought to myself, this child can't be lost, he has a mark on his body!"
Lu Zhixia was very excited after hearing this, "Then think about it again, what is the possibility that my child might be switched?"
Tao Lihua fell silent again as she recalled that after the woman woke up, she no longer needed to take care of the child, which happened to coincide with her time off.
A scene suddenly popped into my head, so I said...
“I remember when I went back to get my clothes, I saw someone hand a child to the cleaning lady. I just walked by and didn’t think much of it.”
Lu Zhixia grasped the key point: "You mean, he gave the child to the cleaning lady?"
Tao Lihua thought for a moment, "Actually, I'm not sure either. After all, 10 years have passed, and this is just a picture in my mind. Besides, I can't be sure that person is your husband, but the clothes are very obvious."
“He was wearing steel mill clothes at the time,” Lu Zhixia continued, “because we had limited resources back then, we didn’t have patched clothes, we only had work clothes.”
"Yes, I identified him by his clothes. Later, I went back to get my clothes, and when I came back, he was gone." Tao Lihua finished speaking and looked at her.
"I don't know if these words will help, but I wish you find your child soon. That little one is really cute."
Lu Zhixia was grateful for her help, which gave her two more leads.
One possibility is that the child has a birthmark on his arm, and another is that Song Weidong may have handed the child over to the cleaning lady. As long as he didn't hand him over to human traffickers, there's still a way to find him.
Although the road ahead is still long and arduous, she is confident that she will find her child.
Out of gratitude to the woman before him, he asked, "May I see the scar on your right cheek?"
"You understand medical principles?" Tao Lihua unconsciously touched her right cheek. "It was just a pimple before, but it grew little by little and then it burst and started to spread from around the wound. I tried many methods, such as applying medicine and disinfecting, but nothing worked."
Lu Zhixia said, "Take a look at it for me. Even if I can't do it now, I can go back and ask around and maybe someone can help."
Tao Lihua felt it wouldn't hurt to let others see it, so she removed the gauze from her right cheek, exposing the wound.
Lu Zhixia saw the wound on her right cheek; if it continued to fester, the bone would be exposed.
Have you gone to the hospital to get it checked out?
“When I got there, they didn’t know what was going on either. They put me on an IV drip. It worked a little at first, but then it stopped working.” Tao Lihua gently touched the edge of the wound. “To be honest, the wound doesn’t hurt. If I didn’t look in the mirror, I wouldn’t even know I had a wound on my face.”
Lu Zhixia found this strange. "From your description, I feel that your wound is more likely caused by poisoning."
"Poisoned?" Tao Lihua exclaimed in shock. "How is that possible? Who would poison me? I haven't offended anyone!"
Lu Zhixia said, "Why don't you think about who would benefit from your injury?"
Tao Lihua fell into deep thought again. Who would poison her?
