Chapter 391 At such a young age, he's already learning to deceive people.

Ye Linchen was not angry when he heard what Xiao Liu said. Instead, he explained to him gently and to the others as well.

“I understand your concerns. Starting a business is very difficult, especially in your current situation. You don't have enough start-up capital and your business volume is small. It's like walking a tightrope. Any wrong decision could lead to irreparable losses, and no one dares to take such a risk.”

"So it's normal for you to doubt me and think the risk is too great."

She paused, then continued, "But what I want to say is that your current difficulties are not due to a lack of effort, but rather to using the wrong methods."

"Without customer positioning and market analysis, your advertising efforts will be like throwing stones into the sea. It's not that no one needs your software, but that the people who need it can't find you."

Ye Linchen continued, "And I'm not asking you to follow my every decision from now on. My job is simply to prepare a report on your current situation, free of charge."

"The report will include your cash flow, risk mitigation plans, and future market trends."

"But whether or not to use it is entirely up to you. Even if you ultimately feel it's not suitable, at least you'll have another option to consider."

"Of course, I hope you can use this report. After all, I put a lot of effort into it, and it needs case studies in my startup report."

She smiled at this point: "So, I'll only do it if you're willing."

“I know this decision is not easy to make, and I’m not in a hurry for you to agree immediately. I understand your hesitation at this moment. You can take some time to discuss it properly and think it through.”

She took a business card out of her bag, placed it on the table, and pushed it towards the table: "This is my contact information. You can page me anytime if you've made up your mind."

Wang Lijun paused for a moment, then subconsciously reached out to take the business card. He looked down and exclaimed, "Jinqiao Advertising? Manager Ye?"

He looked up, surprised, and asked, "Aren't you a college student? How did you become a manager?"

Ye Linchen replied, "I am indeed a sophomore at Jiangcheng University, and Jinqiao Advertising is my part-time job."

As they were talking, another partner suddenly realized: "Jinqiao Advertising... isn't that the one that organized the Tianyin Model Competition?"

Ye Linchen shook his head: "It wasn't organized by us. We were only responsible for finding sponsors."

"I secured the sponsorships from Tianyin Electronics and Yali Apparel."

“I did market analysis, clearly defined their target customer group, and then used data and logic to persuade them. In fact, this is also a marketing method. I believe you have all seen the results of this marketing campaign.”

The expressions on their faces immediately became complicated.

The look of doubt that had been there just moments before slowly turned into one of surprise and anticipation.

However, that caution remained, and they did not immediately give in.

Ye Linchen noticed their hesitation and said nothing more.

She stood up and nodded to the group: "Think about it carefully."

After saying that, he turned and walked out of the studio.

Although Ye Linchen failed to secure a collaboration with Sanmu Software Studio on the spot, she was not discouraged. At least Wang Lijun and his team did not reject her, and even left some room for negotiation, which was already a good start.

So Ye Linchen was not discouraged at all and went straight to the second stop of the day: Qihang Printing.

The high-tech building in the industrial park is quite a distance away, so Ye Linchen chose to take the bus there.

She slung her bag over her shoulder and followed the street corner to the bus stop.

The bus was crowded and swayed along the way. Ye Linchen was rocked back and forth, but he was silently planning his next move.

More than half an hour later, she finally arrived at the industrial park.

This place is completely different from the high-tech building. It's not as modern and grand. Instead, there are rows of factories and low-rise warehouses, and the air is filled with the smell of ink and the roar of machines.

The factory's exterior walls are painted with large slogans in red on white, and in some places the paint is already peeling.

Following the signs in the park, Ye Linchen found Qihang Printing.

The factory's large iron gate was wide open, and the clattering of machines and the strong smell of ink wafted from inside.

Inside the huge factory, several printing presses were running at high speed, and the workers, with their sleeves rolled up, were efficiently moving paper, mounting plates, and checking samples.

Ye Linchen stood at the door for a while and then he understood: Qihang Printing's business was doing very well.

The fact that this operating rate can be maintained indicates that the order volume is not small.

Such a company, advertising in the Jiangcheng Daily, is probably not doing so because it lacks business, but rather because it wants to further expand its market.

As she was thinking, a middle-aged man walked out of the factory.

He was in his early forties, wearing a blue short-sleeved work uniform with ink stains on the cuffs.

He wasn't very tall, but he was strong and sturdy. His face was darkened by the heat of the machines over a long period of time, his eyebrows were thick, and he had a half-smoked cigarette dangling from his mouth, the smoke he exhaled smelling of ink.

He fanned the smoke with his hand and glanced at Ye Linchen: "Little classmate, who are you looking for?"

Ye Linchen smiled politely and said, "Hello, I came here after seeing the advertisement in Jiangcheng Daily."

The man said "Oh," looked her up and down, raised an eyebrow, and said with a hint of impatience, "We do mass printing, young lady. We don't take jobs for less than a thousand copies. If you want to print something, go to the printing shop at the corner store; that's more suitable for you."

Ye Linchen quickly explained, "No, I'm not here for printing. I'm here to discuss cooperation."

"Cooperation?" The man took a drag of his cigarette and exhaled a puff of white smoke.

Ye Linchen nodded and patiently explained his purpose: "I'm a college student, currently working on a startup report, and I need to collect some real-world information about companies."

"I want to collaborate with some startups to help them conduct risk assessments and financial management analyses, and help them reasonably mitigate the risks in the early stages of their business."

"I will write it into a detailed plan, and the data and case studies will also be included in my report..."

Before she could finish speaking, the man waved his hand, interrupting her: "Alright, alright, we don't need that kind of consultation; it's all a scam."

Ye Linchen's heart tightened, but he remained calm and quickly added, "I'm offering this service for free, I don't charge any money."

To everyone's surprise, the man sneered, smashed his cigarette butt against the tin can by the door, and said with a hint of mockery, "You don't want money? Even if you don't want money, I don't want it."

"I know your tricks all too well. You say it's free now, but then you'll throw in a bunch of service fees. I've seen this kind of thing countless times!"

"At such a young age, he's already learning to deceive people; he's not learning anything good!"

"Young lady, I think you're still young, so I'd like to advise you to go back to your studies and not get involved in these illegal and criminal activities."

"Alright, hurry up and leave, don't delay my business."
