Chapter 465 Fighting

When Ye Qing arrived at the kindergarten gate, Xi Quan had just parked his car and was coming over. He was quite surprised to see Ye Qing and quickly went over to her, pulling her along and protecting her to prevent her from being bumped into by the crowd.

"Why are you here? Didn't I say I was here to pick up the kids?" Xi Quan asked, putting his arm around Ye Qing.

However, Ye Qing wanted to move forward, but Xi Quan stopped her: "The kindergarten is about to open, and there will be a lot of people pushing forward. Let's just wait in the back."

"But didn't the two kids say they wanted you to pick them up the first time?" Ye Qing asked Xi Quan. She had overheard Xi Quan talking to the two kids when he took them to school that morning.

That's true, but Xi Quan was worried about Ye Qing, so he couldn't push forward like the other parents.

Ye Qing noticed Xi Quan's predicament and said, "I'll wait for you over there. Go ahead and give the children a surprise. They probably won't expect me to come back."

Xi Quan thought for a moment and agreed to Ye Qing's plan. He helped Ye Qing to wait in a less crowded place across the street, and then he went to pick up the two children first.

After taking a couple of steps, Xi Quan remembered that Ye Qing hadn't answered the question he'd asked her earlier. He paused for a moment, then chuckled and shook his head, thinking he'd been overthinking things.

Although he had said he would come to pick up the child, Ye Qing did come to pick up the child, so it wasn't a big deal at all.

Although Xi Quan didn't squeeze to the front like the other parents at first, his long legs and fast walking made him stand out compared to most of the other parents who were picked up by their grandparents. So he kept his word and was the first parent to pick up his child in Ye Yiran's and Ye Yixin's classes.

The two children were overjoyed to see Ye Qing after leaving school.

Because Ye Qing and Xi Quan rarely come to pick them up together.

Although Ye Qing was somewhat worried because of Ye Shuang's words, seeing the child's happy appearance temporarily put aside her doubts, and she thought she would talk about it when she got home.

Xi Quan had already mentally prepared himself, thinking that Ye Qing was simply there to pick up the child. However, after picking up the child, seeing Ye Qing and the child sitting in the back seat, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back because of the child's happy expression, Xi Quan knew that he had guessed correctly from the beginning; Ye Qing must have come for something.

However, Xi Quan and Ye Qing shared the same thought: since the child was so happy, nothing else mattered.

The two children were completely unaware of what their parents were thinking and were immersed in the joy of their parents coming to pick them up.

Compared to Xi Quan, the two children were very familiar with the baby in Ye Qing's belly. After talking to Ye Qing about kindergarten, they started asking about the baby in her belly.

Ye Qing looked tenderly at the two children sitting on either side of her and said, "Ask them if they miss you."

As soon as she finished speaking, Ye Yixin lay down on Ye Qing's belly and earnestly talked to the baby: "I'm the older sister. Have you been good today? If you've been good, you can blow bubbles."

Xi Quan listened to the sounds behind him with a smile, glancing occasionally at Ye Qing and the others sitting in the back seat through the rearview mirror. Xi Quan felt happy at this moment, so happy that his heart was bubbling with happiness.

Ye Yixin kept babbling on and on about Ye Qing's belly, which made Ye Yiran roll her eyes. But seeing her older sister Ye Yixin, who was a few minutes older than her, completely ignoring her, Ye Yiran couldn't help but say, "You're disturbing his sleep."

"I didn't," Ye Yixin retorted defiantly.

Ye Qing sat between the two children, watching them bicker with a smile, without making any comments.

"That's what you think." Ye Yiran said in a calm tone, like a little adult. "If you don't believe me, just ask her if you disturbed her sleep."

Smiling, Ye Qing couldn't help but reach out and touch Ye Yiran's hair. His son's expressionless, adult-like demeanor was just like Xi Quan's.

Ye Yiran glanced at Ye Qing shyly, then leaned against her chest with a rare blush. She then gave her sister a defiant look, urging her to ask quickly.

Ye Yixin, the older sister, was provoked by Ye Yiran's attitude. She glared at Ye Yiran arrogantly and said, "Ask away, who's afraid of who?"

Ye Yiran raised her chin, then looked down at Ye Qing's already protruding belly, as if to say, "Hurry up and ask."

The older sister snorted and removed Ye Yiran's hand from her mother Ye Qing's belly. Then she gently placed her own hand on Ye Qing's belly and said to the baby, "Did I disturb your sleep?"

As soon as she finished speaking, the baby in Ye Qing's belly started kicking and punching. The movements were so intense that even through her clothes, you could see the rise and fall of Ye Qing's belly!

Ye Yiran was extremely smug. She looked at Ye Yixin provocatively again. Not only that, but she also imitated Ye Yixin's actions from before, pushing her hand away and placing her own hand on Ye Qing's stomach again. Then she gently comforted the baby in her belly: "Okay, no one is bothering you anymore. Go to sleep."

This attitude was practically a provocation to Ye Yixin; she was angry and determined to get her revenge.

She said to Ye Qing's protruding belly, "I'm the older sister, you have to listen to me. I won't let you sleep now, you have to get up."

After saying that, Ye Yixin looked up at Ye Yiran and said, "And you, Ye Yiran, I'm the older sister, you have to listen to me too."

Finally, Ye Yiran was outmaneuvered by her older sister, Ye Yixin.

Compared to his earlier smugness, being outshone by Ye Yixin, who was a few minutes older than him, was really frustrating. But children don't know what frustration is; they just feel unhappy. And if they're unhappy, they're determined to get their revenge.

So Ye Yiran snorted coldly, refusing to admit defeat. When his older sister, who was a few minutes older than him, showed a smug look, Ye Yiran arrogantly turned his head away and said in a particularly helpless tone, "Fine, a good man doesn't fight with a woman. I'll let you have your way."

Wow, Ye Yixin was really furious when she heard this. She tried to get past Ye Qing to pull Ye Yiran away, ready to fight him.

Although he was driving, Xi Quan was listening intently to the sounds coming from the back seat. He also noticed Ye Yixin's movements in the rearview mirror and nervously glanced back at Ye Qing.

Ye Qing caught Xi Quan's gaze, smiled, and said, "Drive with peace of mind."

After saying that, Ye Qing quickly grabbed Ye Yixin: "What's the use of you and Ranran being anxious? Is there any referee to judge who is right and who is wrong?"

Just as Ye Yixin was about to "discipline" her disobedient younger brother, she heard Ye Qing's words and paused for a moment before asking Ye Qing, "Mom, what do you mean?"
