Chapter 606 Patient Guidance

Although Ye Qing seemed very unhappy, when Xi Quan couldn't see it, the corners of her mouth couldn't help but quietly turn up.

Seeing that Xi Quan looked very distressed, Ye Qing raised an eyebrow and said in a serious tone, "Xi Quan, don't think I don't know your little schemes. I won't be a bad person in front of the children, but you can be a bad person in front of your daughter once in a while."

In fact, the two have known each other for so long and spent quite a bit of time together that they know what the other is thinking. Even if they don't know the details, they can still guess the general idea.

So Xi Quan wasn't too surprised to hear Ye Qing's words. He looked at Ye Qing, sighed, and said, "Alright, I'll say it."

But the thought that Ye Yixin might be unhappy made Xi Quan even more melancholy.

After this ordeal, Ye Qing's mood was noticeably better than before, and her cold war with Xi Quan naturally ended.

The naming had been arranged, and Ye Qing was even more eager to see the child. Even if the child was still sleeping and hadn't woken up, Ye Qing would just want to see him from afar. So, with excitement, she looked at Xi Quan again.

Seeing Ye Qing's emotions, Xi Quan naturally understood what she meant, but he was still a little worried about her health and feared that if she didn't take good care of herself, it would hinder her recovery.

However, Xi Quan can understand Ye Qing's expectations.

Although Xi Quan didn't visit the child before Ye Qing woke up, and even after the doctor conveyed the message that both the adult and the child were in danger, Xi Quan still chose to visit Ye Qing.

However, this does not mean that Xi Quan does not love children. He was in great pain and his choice seemed firm, but it was very painful.

He and Ye Qing actually share the same feelings about children.

So, although he still had concerns, Xi Quan was actually planning to agree. But just as he was about to give in and allow Ye Qing to see the child, the child's voice came from outside the ward. Ye Qing and Xi Quan quickly exchanged a glance.

Ye Qing exclaimed excitedly, "It's Ye Yixin and Ye Yiran's voices!"

Xi Quan nodded, recognizing the voices as belonging to both of them.

So Xi Quan stood up and went to open the door, but before he could open it, the ward door was pushed open from the outside. Not only were Xi Yue and the two children there, but also their newborn daughter, who was being pushed in by a nurse.

"The baby just woke up. After the doctor checked the baby, he said that all the baby's indicators were very good and that the baby no longer needed to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit."

I was just talking to Xi Quan about the children when the surprise came so quickly. Even Ye Qing hadn't seen Ye Yiran and Ye Yixin for several days, but at this moment, it was clear that Ye Qing was paying more attention to his newborn daughter.

As the nurses set up the hospital trolley, Ye Qing wanted to ask Xi Quan to bring the baby over so she could see him, but before she could speak, she heard Ye Yixin say in somewhat broken Mandarin, "Wow, this is Wanfu."

The nurse briefly explained the child's situation to Xi Quan and turned to leave. However, upon hearing Ye Yixin's words, she stopped, turned around, and looked at the child with a complicated expression. When she wanted to look at Ye Qing, Xi Quan, and Xi Yue, she realized that it might be impolite and looked away. But from Ye Qing's perspective, it was still clear that the nurse was trying her best to suppress her laughter.

Ye Qing was extremely embarrassed.

Xi Quan and Xi Yue were also very embarrassed. Faced with the nurse's expression of wanting to laugh but not daring to, they forced a smile and looked at her.

Although very curious, the nurse had professional ethics and left quickly.

Ye Qing looked at the two children, who were lying by the baby's crib, calling each other "Wanfu" this and "Wanfu" that, with mixed feelings. Her eyes met Xi Yue's inadvertently, and Ye Qing made a gesture to Xi Yue.

Xi Yue did see Ye Qing's gesture, but she couldn't quite believe it, so she mouthed something to Ye Qing. Ye Qing blinked and nodded, indicating that Xi Yue hadn't misread it.

You read that right, but Xi Yue was still a little hesitant, after all, Xi Quan was still standing there.

However, Ye Qing's gaze was encouraging. Xi Yue didn't quite understand what Ye Qing meant, so she cautiously glanced at Xi Quan standing next to her. By sheer coincidence, her eyes met Xi Quan's.

Xi Yue dared not do it again, and she stopped looking at Ye Qing altogether.

Xi Quan saw the exchange of glances between Ye Qing and Xi Yue, as well as Ye Qing's gestures, and understood what Ye Qing meant.

Seeing that Xi Quan had seen her, Ye Qing decided to stop communicating with Xi Yue through "telepathy" and said directly, "Xi Quan, bring the child over here so I can see him."

Xi Quan walked over, squeezed into the center of Ye Yiran and Ye Yixin, picked up Fu Bao and carried her to the bedside, placing her in Ye Qing's arms.

Ye Yiran and Ye Yixin, the two children, also went to Ye Qing's bedside and lay down on either side of her, watching their younger sister.

The two children had no idea about the name "Wanfu" and kept calling her "sister," completely ignoring the embarrassment of Ye Qing, Xi Yue, and Xi Quan.

It's as if they think, "As long as I'm not embarrassed, it's others who are embarrassed."

Just now, when the child was still in the hospital stroller, Xi Yue was right next to her. Ye Qing winked at Xi Yue, signaling her to gently pinch her little sister to make her cry a couple of times, but Xi Yue didn't dare and couldn't bring herself to do it.

Although Ye Qing was also a little hesitant to do it, compared to the two children calling her "Wanfu" this and "Wanfu" that, Ye Qing still hardened her heart and gently pinched the child's leg. The younger sister, who was staring at Ye Yixin and Ye Yiran with wide eyes, instantly changed her expression and started crying.

Hearing the crying, Xi Quan frowned with heartache, but he and Ye Qing had a good understanding and he spoke up at the right time: "Xinbao, think of another name. It seems that your sister doesn't really like the name Wanfu. She cries as soon as you call her that."

Ye Yiran and Ye Yixin were at a loss because of their younger sister's tears, but when they heard Xi Quan's words, their eyes lit up and they asked, "Don't you like it?"

“Of course, because your little sister is still young and can’t speak, so she expresses her dislike by crying.” Xi Quan coaxed patiently, “Besides, Wanfu is not quite the same as your name. Your name is Xinbao.”

Fearing that the two children, who were not good at Chinese, might come up with some strange names again, Ye Qing quickly followed Xi Quan's lead and said, "Let's call him Fu Bao. It sounds a lot like your name, Ye Yixin."

Although it wasn't the name she really liked, at least it retained the character "福" (fortune/blessing), so Ye Yixin felt it was a satisfactory outcome and didn't object.

Although Ye Yiran is the younger brother, he looks more like the older brother than Ye Yixin. However, it's only in appearance, since he is still a child. When he heard that the name Wanfu could not be used for his younger sister, he felt it was a great pity and made another suggestion.
