Lu Fangfang cursed under her breath the whole way back to the family compound, feeling depressed.
It was already dark when she decided to go to Commissar Xiao's house.
She was the one who led Wang Shufen in digging for caterpillar fungus. Now that people from above are coming soon, it's best to keep a low profile. She has to persuade Shufen to stop.
