Chapter 368 Autumn Field Trip

"Hey girl, why are you here so early?"

In the breeding farm, Wang Shufen yawned and opened the breeding gate.

She was a little surprised to see Lu Fangfang arrive so early.

"Sister Shufen, I'm going to the grassland in the north. I'll come back and bring the gun with me."

As Lu Fangfang spoke, she walked into the courtyard.

Once inside the breeding shed, she opened the safe and took out a Type 56 semi-automatic rifle.

This was the first time she had ever touched a gun since she fought Big Bear.

She took an old cloth from the cabinet and wiped Wu Liu Ban.

She was a little worried about going to the grassland alone without a gun for self-defense.

After a while, she took out ten bullets and put them in her pocket, then closed the cabinet door again.

"Girl, be careful."

"Sister Shufen, don't worry. I'm not going hunting this time. I'm just carrying a gun for self-defense. It'll be fine."

Carrying a Type 56 semi-automatic rifle, Lu Fangfang turned and walked out.

At the gate of the courtyard, the little wild donkey snorted, and seeing that she had gotten on, it pulled the donkey cart away.

Once on the main road, Lu Fangfang subconsciously looked towards the entrance of the family compound. This time, she didn't see Xiao Ting, but she did see Xu Jinbu walking briskly towards the regiment.

"These two are sworn enemies..."

"Little stubborn donkey, let's go to the place where we met the Pallas's rabbit on the pasture last time."

"Oh...ah..."

The little wild donkey brayed and quickened its pace.

After crossing the stream, it pulled Lu Fangfang into the grassland and headed northeast.

In autumn, the grasslands of the Qilian Mountains are withered and yellow, unlike the lush greenery of summer, giving them a desolate and melancholic appearance.

Only the white snow-capped mountains in the distance stand out against the yellow-green forest, displaying a different hue.

If it weren't for the availability of only black and white film, she would have loved to take a picture of the Qilian Mountains in autumn.

Soon, the donkey cart carrying Lu Fangfang arrived at Tubo Ridge, which was full of potholes.

She picked up the binoculars around her neck and looked again toward the burrow of the Tibetan fox family.

As every morning, the female Tibetan fox squatted at the entrance of her burrow with a serene and melancholic air.

Beside it, five fluffy, chubby Tibetan fox cubs were playfully fighting with each other.

Sometimes the baby Tibetan foxes would play and frolic in front of their mother.

The mother Tibetan fox glanced at the children but made no move to intervene.

In the distance, Lu Fangfang held up binoculars, a maternal smile on her face.

Speaking of which, she watched these five little Tibetan foxes grow up, so they should call her aunt.

"Awoo~"

On the donkey cart, the little yellow dog whimpered and snuggled into Xiaohua's arms.

Lu Fangfang looked back and reached out to comfort it.

If it weren't for the cat tyrant back then, the little yellow dog would probably be with the mother Tibetan fox now.

However, if that were the case, there wouldn't be the five Tibetan fox cubs we have today, which is a mess.

At the cave entrance in the distance, the mother Tibetan fox twitched her ears and looked in the direction of the donkey cart.

"Awoo~"

"Awoo~"

The two little Tibetan foxes were playing and rolled around in front of their mother.

It stretched out its paws, pushed the little Tibetan fox aside, and looked into the distance. Seeing that it was Lu Fangfang and her group, its yellow and white face became even more melancholy.

“Little wild donkey, walk a little further and get closer to them.”

On the donkey cart, Lu Fangfang held her drawing board, took out a pen from her coat pocket, and began to conceive her ideas.

Fearing that the little Tibetan foxes would be frightened by Xiaohua, she pulled Xiaohua behind her.

"Oh...ah..."

The little wild donkey feared no one on this grassland except for the Tibetan bear. It pulled Lu Fangfang along quickly.

When they were still nearly ten meters away from the entrance of the Tibetan fox's den, Lu Fangfang reached out and patted it, making the little wild donkey stop.

Five Tibetan fox cubs nearby darted into the burrow, leaving only the mother fox crouching at the entrance.

After a while, two small yellow heads popped out of the hole, looking at Lu Fangfang curiously.

"Awooo... Awooo~"

One of the Tibetan fox cubs called out to her.

Lu Fangfang smiled, picked up her pen, and quickly sketched on the drawing board.

Behind her, Xiaohua poked her head out and curiously glanced at the direction where the little Tibetan fox was calling.

"Aww..."

The little Tibetan fox, which was calling out, was startled and immediately scurried into its burrow.

Beside them, the little yellow dog watched with a hint of disdain.

It turned its head and licked the little flower. After hesitating for a long time, it finally jumped off the donkey cart and walked towards the mother Tibetan fox.

"Awoo~"

Upon approaching, the little yellow dog began barking at the mother Tibetan fox.

On the donkey cart, Lu Fangfang glanced up and saw that the mother Tibetan fox still had a melancholy expression on her face and didn't move at all, letting the little yellow dog bark.

Lu Fangfang: "..."

Seeing this scene, she could only sigh helplessly.

The little yellow dog barked for a while, then took a few steps toward the cave.

Across from them, the mother Tibetan fox opened her mouth and let out a warning growl.

"Awoo~"

The little yellow dog was very disappointed. It looked at the mother Tibetan fox, turned around and ran back.

When it reached the donkey cart, it leaped up with all its might and jumped onto it.

Lu Fangfang quickly patted its head to comfort it.

After a while, another yellow figure appeared on the distant grassland, carrying several pikas in its mouth, and quickly ran closer.

The male Tibetan fox glanced at the donkey cart but didn't seem to care.

Upon reaching the cave entrance, it opened its mouth and called out several children.

A group of Tibetan fox cubs immediately came out whimpering and began scrambling around the pika to eat it.

The male Tibetan fox looked at the cubs, then walked over to the female and lay down.
