"Big White, why do you always look like you're bald?"
Lu Fangfang stretched out her finger and gently touched Big White.
"Chirp chirp~"
Big White pecked at a grass seed and immediately took flight.
It circled around Lu Fangfang's head, spinning incessantly.
"Big White, you look even more bald when you fly."
Lu Fangfang couldn't stop laughing; she hadn't expected it to be so wary.
It wasn't that she was slandering the bird. This little chubby bird had small eyes and a round head, making it look like a bald head. The little white bird was much better looking; its feathers were snow-white, and it looked delicate and pretty.
She reached out and gently touched Little White again.
"Chirp chirp~"
Little White was rescued from the donkey's mouth by her, and was less wary than Big White.
After calling out twice, it lowered its head and quickly began pecking at the grass seeds.
Seeing this, the big white creature in the sky immediately swooped down, landed on her arm, and started pecking at the grass seeds again.
"Two greedy little chubby birds."
Looking at the two little creatures, Lu Fangfang finally understood why they had come to the farm to settle down; they must have come for the grass seeds.
"Chirp chirp~"
"Chirp chirp~"
After pecking for a while, the two little chubby chicks suddenly flew up together.
"Um?"
Lu Fangfang was taken aback. She looked back but saw no movement.
If it wasn't our own little wild donkey that came back, then what could it be?
Looking more closely into the courtyard, she then noticed the little weasel on the south wall, heading straight for her.
"Squeak~"
The little weasel stood upright in front of Lu Fangfang, its body held upright.
Lu Fangfang scattered grass seeds, then smiled and picked them up.
"Little Yellow, why are you looking for me instead of catching pikas?"
"Squeak~"
The little weasel turned its head and called out towards the south corner of the wall, then looked back at her.
Lu Fangfang glanced at the snow piled up in the corner and immediately understood.
"You little rascal, you're quite polite, you know to come find me."
She patted the little weasel and walked to the snowdrift in the shady corner of the wall.
She found a small shovel, dug through the snowdrift, and took out a frozen fish about half the size of her palm.
"Squeak~"
The little weasel got excited.
"Little Yellow, if you want to eat it in the future, just come and get it yourself, but don't let Little Flower and the others eat it all."
Lu Fangfang smiled and fed the frozen fish in her hand to the little weasel.
She stroked its fluffy little head, bent down, and put Little Yellow on the ground.
The little weasel dragged the frozen fish, glanced back at her, and then quickly ran towards the top of the wall.
"This guy runs really fast."
Lu Fangfang shoveled up the snow and covered the frozen fish with it.
"Awoo~"
"Meow~"
Hearing the shouts coming from outside the courtyard, Lu Fangfang smiled and dug into the snow pile again.
Little Flower and Little Tibetan Fox rushed into the yard, howling.
Seeing Lu Fangfang standing in the corner, the two little ones immediately ran over.
"Meow~"
"Awoo~"
"Hey, alright, alright, aren't we back now? You two must be hungry, right? Here, have a frozen fish."
Lu Fangfang petted the two little ones with one hand, and with the other hand dug through the snowdrift, took out two big fish, and gave them to Xiaohua and the little Tibetan fox.
She rubbed the two little ones' heads vigorously before filling the snowdrift back up.
She clapped her hands and saw the two little ones licking the food, and a smile returned to her face.
After they finished licking the fish, Lu Fangfang called them into the storage room.
She pulled two fruit candies from her pocket, unwrapped them, and looked at the two little ones. "Little Flower, Little Yellow Dog, open your mouths, here's some candy for you."
"Awoo~"
"Meow~"
Lu Fangfang smiled and stuffed two candies into their mouths, then pinched their mouths shut.
Seeing the two little ones looking at her innocently, she added, "You can't chew candy; you have to lick it slowly."
After a while, once the candy had melted in their mouths, she let go of them.
The little flower remained unchanged.
After a while, it tilted its head and looked at Lu Fangfang with a rather amazed expression.
"Sweet, isn't it? This is fruit candy."
Lu Fangfang patted Xiaohua's head.
Turning my head to look at the little Tibetan fox again, I saw it with its mouth open, whimpering as it came closer.
Well, this little guy will probably eat it like a wild donkey, just chewing it a bit and then eating it. Helpless, she peeled another one and stuffed it into the little Tibetan fox's mouth.
After playing with the two little ones for a while, she went to check on the storeroom and gave the quails some warm water.
It was just getting dark when Sister Shufen arrived at the farm.
"Girl, you should go back and rest. I'll keep watch tonight."
"Alright then, Sister Shufen, I'll be going now."
Lu Fangfang called Xiaohua and Xiaozanghu back to the family compound.
Pushing open the courtyard gate, she stepped into the yard and saw the little wild donkey eating in front of a basin, while the aroma of fish wafted from inside the house.
She moved closer to the little wild donkey and picked up the brush to brush its back hair.
Today it pulled over 300-400 pounds of stuff and ran for most of the day; it worked very hard.
"Oh...ah..."
The little wild donkey snorted, looking quite pleased.
"Sister, come inside quickly, the fish is ready."
Hearing the noise, Xiuxiu went to the door and called out.
Lu Fangfang brushed the little donkey a few more times, then turned to ask, "Xiuxiu, where did you put the goose?"
"It's in the small shed."
Lu Fangfang put down the brush and went to take a look inside the shed.
The goose was squatting in the shed preening its feathers, and it was quite wary when it saw her come in.
