"I apologize for overstepping my bounds," Jiang Ci said politely. "Is there anything else, Director Guo? I need to go to the restroom urgently."
Guo Zhen's face tightened, and he turned and left.
Jiang Ci watched his retreating figure, then turned around, her eyes filled with even more gloom.
Her request was also for Shan Lian's benefit.
Jiang Ci's actions against Guo Zhen have absolutely nothing to do with Shan Lian, and she doesn't want to involve Shan Lian in it. If Guo Zhen can send Shan Lian abroad to continue her studies, it will prevent her from getting hurt if she really fights with Guo Zhen.

He paused slightly, put down his chopsticks and the steamed bun in his hand, and said, "Master, my wife is out there."
Chef Mo turned his head and, sure enough, saw Jiang Ci.
Jiang Ci smiled and waved to Chef Mo.
"There are leaders and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs outside today," Chef Mo nodded with a smile. "You'd better go now."
Zhou Mingli got up, went to the door, and pulled Jiang Ci to the side.
"Why didn't you mention coming to this banquet?" Zhou Mingli asked her, noting that she was dressed lightly. "Aren't you cold?"
Jiang Ci shook her head. "It's not cold. I was notified to come here at the last minute. You've been leaving early and coming back late, so I haven't had time to talk to you."
Zhou Mingli was helpless, but he was also very happy to meet him here. He asked, "When will it end? I'll walk with you."
"It will probably take another hour."
"I'm waiting for you."
