Mentioning Jiang Ci, Li Hu's face changed several times, then turned gloomy. "If Jiang Ci really goes up the mountain, I'll kill her!"
Li Hu dared not let Xia Lei know that Jiang Ci had seen him selling things at the ghost market.

Xia Lei watched as Li Hu began to ponder the matter on his own, and then said nothing more.
Anyway, he already had a way to deal with Jiang Ci, so he might as well let Li Hu get rid of Jiang Ci first. That way, he wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of sending her to the Northwest. If Li Hu's method didn't work, he could take action himself, and Jiang Ci wouldn't be able to escape either.
With two plans in mind, Xia Lei felt much better. On his way down the mountain, he caught a green snake, intending to make snake soup for Yin Yin when he got back.
Liu Yinyin was sleeping in with her son at home when she heard the door open and the sound of a bicycle. She knew it was Xia Lei returning. Liu Yinyin, wearing a cotton sundress, came out of the house and said, "Brother Lei, why are you only coming back now?"
"That's pretty fast." Xia Lei looked at his wife, whose exposed skin was snow-white, and whose sleepy eyes made her look like an innocent little white rabbit.
A hint of tenderness appeared in his eyes. "I went up the mountain and got some wild game. We'll have an extra meal tonight."
"Really? What is it? A pheasant or a rabbit?"
Liu Yinyin became happy and ran to the bicycle. Looking at the basket in front, her expression changed drastically, and she hurriedly backed away, exclaiming, "A snake!"
Xia Lei laughed and hugged her, "She's already dead, what are you afraid of?"
Liu Yinyin glared at him angrily, "I'm terrified of snakes! You deliberately made me see them!"
Xia Lei patted her waist and said, "You just stay at home and enjoy yourself. I'll take care of all these things. I'll earn money to support you and make sure you don't come into contact with snakes, insects, or rodents."
Liu Yinyin smiled and kissed Xia Lei, "I knew you were the best, Brother Lei."
