Chapter 121 Reluctance

"What's the matter?" Lin Shu took a breath.

She tried hard to make her voice sound normal, but it still had a slightly abnormal nasal tone.

"I, I'm tired. I'm going back to my room to sleep first." She said quickly, and without waiting for Han Yan's reaction, she rushed into the room and lay down, pulling the quilt over her head and covering her face.

The tears in her eyes could no longer be held back and flowed down like a flood. She bit her lips, afraid that she would cry out loud.

After a while, she heard Han Yan's footsteps walking into the room.

Lin Shu bit his lips even tighter, but tears flowed uncontrollably to the corners of his eyes.

"Shu'er..."

She felt Han Yan sitting on the bed and gently pulling the quilt covering her head.

Lin Shu pulled the two sides of the quilt tightly, afraid that he would pull it open.

"Come out and don't be bored." Han Yan pulled the quilt again and coaxed in a gentle tone.

Lin Shu lay there with his eyes wide open, motionless.

Han Yan seemed to let out a long sigh and lay down beside her.

He held Lin Shu and the blanket in his arms.

She immediately closed her eyes and dared not move.

He patted her back gently: "Be good, I will come back safely."

As he spoke, he pulled her closer to his chest and said, "Have you forgotten? I told you that my life is yours."

There was silence for a few seconds.

Lin Shu exhaled lightly and said in a muffled voice, "Then you must come back safely."

"Yeah." Han Yan responded softly.

"Then you are not allowed to get hurt." Lin Shu said again.

Han Yan did not respond.

"Speak." Lin Shu said fiercely.

Han Yan hugged her a little tighter and sighed helplessly: "I'll try my best."

"Don't try too hard." Lin Shu suddenly lifted the quilt, pushed him down on the bed, supported himself on his chest, and glared at him.

She knew she was being unreasonable, but she just couldn't help it.

"Okay, okay..." Han Yan raised his hand and gently scratched her nose, his eyes doting, "Like a little cat."

"No way?" Lin Shu felt a little embarrassed and buried his face in him.

Han Yan chuckled and reached out to gently stroke her back.

The two lay quietly for a while.

"Be good, I'll get you some water to wipe your face," Han Yan said, "otherwise it will be uncomfortable."

"Yeah." Lin Shu turned over and stared at Han Yan as he walked out the door.

After a while, Han Yan brought in a basin of water with a towel beside it.

Lin Shu sat up and wanted to get out of bed.

"Sit still." Han Yan said gently, I'll wipe it for you.

Lin Shu's lips curled up slightly, and he sat obediently on the bed, closing his eyes and looking up.

Han Yan placed a half-wrung-out, still warm towel on her face, then gently wiped it on both sides.

"Don't cry anymore, it hurts me." Han Yan said.

"Who asked you to bully me?" Lin Shu asked in a soft voice.

"How could I have that?"

"You have."

"I don't."

"You have it."

"Okay, okay, I have it." Han Yan said in a doting tone.

Lin Shu opened his eyes embarrassedly.

She never thought that there would be a day when she would be so unreasonable.

Their eyes met and gradually entangled.

Lin Shu's hands on both sides unconsciously pinched the quilt.

Her face gradually became hot, and her eyes, washed by tears, became more moist.

I don't know when the towel was casually draped on the back of the chair, and one drop of water, two drops... dripped onto the ground and no one paid any attention to it.

I don’t know who approached who first, but this night is destined to be more passionate than ever.

The next morning, Lin Shu woke up late as expected.

She stared blankly at the ceiling for a while, rolled around twice with the quilt in her arms, and then immediately sat up.

She put all the medicines that might be needed in the space on the bed.

Painkillers, hemostatics, detoxifiers... Lin Shu took a bottle of each medicine and put them aside.

Finally, she stared at the large and small medicine bottles that had been picked out and placed in a pile, and sighed.

She was too anxious. She knew it was not right, but she just couldn't control herself.

She bit her lip and finally took out a bottle of life-saving pills and hemostatic medicine, and put the rest back into the space.

For the next two days, Lin Shu and Han Yan acted as usual, pretending nothing had happened. However, at night, things got even more...

Both of them seemed to want to brand the other into their bones.

The day before Lin Hanyan went on a mission, Lin Shu was listless and did nothing.

evening.

It was almost time for Han Yan to come back, and whenever she heard a noise outside the house, she would immediately look towards the door.

Lin Shu brought the prepared food to the table, sat at the table, and stared at the door.

With a click, the door was opened.

Lin Shu immediately ran over, his eyes sparkling as he stared at Han Yan who had returned.

"Why are you waiting here?" Han Yan said softly, reaching out to rub her head.

"I miss you." Lin Shu reached out and grabbed his clothes, saying in a soft voice.

Han Yan was stunned for a moment, then looked happy and hugged her in his arms: "Yeah, I missed you too."

Lin Shuhui hugged her, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but rise.

The two hugged each other quietly for a while, and Han Yan pulled her to sit at the dining table to eat.

During this time, the two of them looked at each other from time to time, with sweet smiles in their eyes.

After dinner, Han Yan cleaned up the dishes and went to the kitchen.

Lin Shu followed him in and stuck close to him.

Han Yan went into the room to pack his clothes, and she followed him in.

Han Yan took the clothes and walked towards the bathroom. She followed him like his tail.

Suddenly, Han Yan stopped at the door, and Lin Shu bumped into his back without paying attention.
