Chapter 65: Testing

In the evening, just after getting off work, Liu Fang dragged her tired body towards the educated youth dormitory. When she passed by a group of children, a voice coming over made her stop suddenly.

"Little Tiger, is your grandma dying?"

"Nonsense, my grandma won't die."

"My grandma said that your grandma has been lying there for so long without moving that she will die soon."

"No! Sister Lin Shu said that grandma is moving and will wake up soon."

Liu Fang suddenly turned around and walked quickly towards the child.

She took a deep breath, forced a smile, looked at Xiao Huzi, and said gently, "Xiao Huzi, is your grandma awake?"

Little Tiger covered his mouth in panic and shook his head.

"Little Tiger, do you still remember me? I've been to your house before." Liu Fang continued softly, "I'm worried about your grandma, too. Tell me, is she awake?"

Xiao Huzi hesitated for a moment, let go of his hand, nodded and shook his head: "She is not awake, she just moved.

The smile on Liu Fang's face froze, and she turned around, her expression immediately becoming gloomy.

She immediately ran towards Aunt Liang's house. After running a few steps, she stopped and stood there, biting her fingernails unconsciously.

After a long while, she turned and walked towards the educated youth dormitory.

After returning to the dormitory, Liu Fang was restless and looked towards the door from time to time.

As soon as Lin Shu stepped into the room, she immediately looked at Lin Shu calmly, trying to find clues on her face.

But Lin Shu was still the same as usual, without any abnormality.

Liu Fang secretly breathed a sigh of relief. She had to find a chance to see if Aunt Liang had woken up.

As soon as Lin Shu stepped into the dormitory, she felt Liu Fang secretly looking at her.

Lin Shu's eyebrows jumped, and she wondered what was wrong with Liu Fang recently. The only people Liu Fang paid attention to were her and Han Yan.

Suddenly, an idea flashed in Lin Shu's mind. It was Aunt Liang!

Lin Shu let Liu Fang look at him calmly.

She had to remind Han Yan and the others to be careful and not let Liu Fang get close to Aunt Liang.

The next morning.

Lin Shu, who was about to go out, glanced at Liu Fang and found that Liu Fang, who always left early, had not left yet.

Lin Shu thought about it and continued to pack his things as if nothing had happened.

Liu Fang, who was pretending to comb her hair, saw Lin Shu who had not left yet. She gritted her teeth, threw the comb on the table, stood up, and glared at Lin Shu fiercely when she passed by her.

Lin Shu frowned and looked at the direction Liu Fang left. Thinking of her abnormal behavior just now, his eyebrows jumped.

In the fields.

Liu Fang, who was working, suddenly covered her stomach and said to the team leader with a red face, "Team leader, I feel a little uncomfortable and need to leave for a while."

The team leader frowned and looked at her, then waved at her: "Go quickly and come back soon."

When she ran to a place where people in the fields behind could no longer see her, Liu Fang let go of her hands that were covering her stomach and ran quickly towards Aunt Liang's house.

When she arrived outside Aunt Liang's yard, she calmed her rapid breathing, put on a smile and walked in.

"Miss Liu, why are you here?" Li Qiu asked when he saw Liu Fang.

"I'm just worried about Aunt Liang. I haven't been here for a long time. I heard that she was able to move, so I came to see her." Liu Fang said with a smile.

Li Qiu's hands trembled, and he sighed and said, "How can it move? It's also because we saw it wrong. We were so happy for nothing."

Liu Fang looked at Li Qiu suspiciously, and said calmly, "Oh, that's a pity. Can I go in and see her?

A hint of hesitation flashed across Li Qiu's face: "Miss Liu, please come over next time."

"Why?" Liu Fang stared at Li Qiu's face closely.

Before she could react, Liu Fang quickly walked around her and headed towards Aunt Liang's room.

"Hey, Miss Liu." Li Fang quickly chased after her.

Liu Fang entered the room and looked around.

There was no strange smell in the room. Aunt Liang, who was lying on the bed, looked a little thinner and seemed to be asleep. It was obvious that she was well taken care of.

Liu Fang walked to Aunt Liang's bed and looked at her carefully.

Li Qiu followed closely and stood next to Liu Fang.

Liu Fang glanced at Li Qiu next to her and felt secretly anxious.

She took a step forward and turned around, facing away from Li Qiu, blocking her view. She quickly grabbed Aunt Liang's hand and said, "Aunt Liang, I hope you get better soon."

As she spoke, Liu Fang took the opportunity to prick Aunt Liang's finger with the embroidery needle in her hand. They say that the fingers are connected to the heart, and if Aunt Liang really woke up, she would definitely have a big reaction.

Liu Fang stared at Aunt Liang's face closely, but found that her expression did not change at all, except that her eyeballs seemed to move and her fingers twitched slightly.

"Miss Liu, what are you doing?" Li Qiu beside her shouted.

Startled, Liu Fang quickly hid the needle, put down Aunt Liang's hand, turned around and said to Liu Fang: "I seemed to see Aunt Liang move a little just now, so I was stunned."

Li Qiu looked at Liu Fang suspiciously: "Really?"

"Yes." Liu Fang said calmly, "It's time for me to go to work. The team leader will tell me."

Without waiting for Li Qiu's reaction, Liu Fang hurried out of the room.

Liu Fang breathed a sigh of relief after leaving the yard, but at the same time, she couldn't help feeling anxious.

She turned around and looked towards Aunt Liang's room, her eyes filled with gloom. She had a premonition that Aunt Liang would wake up soon.

Liu Fang returned to the educated youth dormitory and sat on the bed, biting her fingernails unconsciously.

She had no time to go to work at this time.

What should I do? Leave here?

No, she came here just for Han Yan, but Han Yan is already a disabled person, why is she still staying here?

Liu Fang stood up and paced back and forth in the room

Suddenly she thought, she knew so much about the future, why should she hang herself on Han Yan, this useless tree?

Thinking of this, Liu Fang's heart immediately began to boil, and the fear she had just felt when she learned that Aunt Liang was about to wake up disappeared.

Her eyes were unusually bright, and she murmured, "No hurry, no hurry, she needs to think carefully, think carefully..."

After an unknown amount of time, Liu Fang walked towards the field with a relaxed look on her face and brisk steps.

In the afternoon, Lin Shu came to Aunt Liang's house. Li Qiu hurriedly told her that Liu Fang had come that morning: "Lin Shu, Liu Fang really came. How did you know she would come?"

Lin Shu was shocked. She had noticed something was wrong with Liu Fang that morning, so she came over to ask Li Qiu to keep an eye on her. She hadn't expected her to actually come.

"Did she do anything?" Lin Shu said as he walked towards Aunt Liang's room worriedly.

"She didn't do anything, she just came in to see her mother." said Li Qiu, who was following behind Lin Shu.

Lin Shu came to Aunt Liang's bed, looked at her face carefully, and took her pulse. Her pulse was stable and there was nothing abnormal.

Lin Shu breathed a sigh of relief.

"Is there any problem?" Li Qiu looked at Lin Shu puzzledly.

Lin Shu shook his head. Was she overthinking it?
