"How do you feel today?" Lin Shu didn't want to talk about Liu Fang anymore.
"Let me show you." Han Yan looked at Lin Shu with bright eyes and said excitedly.
"What?" Lin Shu looked confused.
Then she followed his gaze to his legs.
After a while, Lin Shu was surprised to find that his legs were moving slowly.
"It's moving, it's moving." Lin Shu looked at Han Yan excitedly.
"Yeah." Han Yan looked at her with sparkling eyes. "When I woke up this morning, I felt like my legs seemed to be able to move, so I tried it."
"Congratulations, Comrade Han Yan."
"Thank you, Dr. Kobayashi."
The two smiled at each other, and the annoyance they had just felt when they learned that Liu Fang had escaped was swept away, and they were happy about this development.
Suddenly, there was a noise outside.
"Big mountains, big mountains."
Lin Shu and Han Yan looked at each other, and from the voice they knew it was Han Yan's aunt Li Xiulan.
Lin Shu frowned. Why was she here? What trouble was she bound to cause?
"Sister-in-law, why are you here?" It was the voice of Han Yan's father, Han Shan.
"Why, I can't come?" Li Xiulan said unhappily, "Last time, Liang Hehua was paralyzed and said it was inconvenient for me to see her. This time, I just came back from my parents' home and heard that Han Yan was also paralyzed. I came to visit with good intentions, and now you want to kick me out?"
Who is paralyzed? Lin Shu couldn't help but feel a little angry.
"Sister-in-law, we appreciate your kindness." Han Shan said.
"What do you mean by grateful?" Li Xiulan's tone revealed some excitement. "I'm here to congratulate you."
I didn't hear anyone outside talking to her, as if they all knew what she said was unreliable.
"Let me tell you something," Li Xiulan said to herself, seemingly unconcerned. "Isn't Han Yan paralyzed? That's perfect. There's a girl on my side of the family who's strong and healthy, perfect for Han Yan. Even though she might not be very smart, she'll definitely be able to serve tea and water."
Lin Shu stood up abruptly, his face brimming with anger, and wanted to go out and confront her. What was that? Was she even talking like a human being?
Han Yan grabbed Lin Shu's hand in time and shook his head at her.
"Let go," Lin Shu whispered. She couldn't bear it any longer.
Han Yan used some skill to pull her towards him.
Lin Shu fell into his arms without paying attention.
Han Yan gently hugged her and whispered softly in her ear, "Be good, let's not bother with her."
Lin Shu's attention was no longer on Li Xiulan, but on the scorching heat around him and the numbing sound in his ears.
"Let go first." Lin Shu's cheeks were hot and he said in a soft voice.
Han Yan let her go.
Lin Shu immediately withdrew from his embrace, stood aside, exhaled, glared at him, and muttered, "Just say it, why are you touching me?"
Han Yan chuckled: "I didn't move my feet."
Lin Shu was about to refute him, but he heard Han Shan's angry voice coming from outside.
"Sister-in-law, we don't need your introduction, please go back."
"Dashan, you're driving me away." Li Xiulan's tone was filled with disbelief as she began to yell, "A paralytic, you think you're looking for a fairy? It's good enough that this idiot doesn't despise him. Hey, let me go..."
Hearing Li Xiulan's voice getting smaller and smaller, Lin Shu guessed that she must have been dragged out by Han Shan and the others.
"You never change." Lin Shu blurted out angrily.
Then, she looked at Han Yan sheepishly. Wasn't it nice to talk about someone else's relatives in front of them?
"That's right." Han Yan agreed seriously.
Lin Shu pursed his lips, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but curl up slightly.
"Grandpa, Grandpa, Mom, Dad."
At this time, the little tiger's loud shouting was heard again, and his voice revealed his joy: "Grandma is awake, Grandma is awake."
Lin Shu suddenly looked at Han Yan.
Han Yan was also looking at her expectantly.
"I'll go and take a look." After saying that, Lin Shu hurriedly walked towards Aunt Liang's room.
When they walked into the room, Han Shan, Han Xin and Li Qiu were already gathered around Aunt Liang's bed.
Lin Shu walked over and found that Aunt Liang had her eyes open, her expression a little excited, and her mouth opening and closing, as if she was saying something.
"Mom, what do you want to say?" Han Xin put his ear close to Aunt Liang's mouth with an anxious look on his face.
"Let me take a look." Lin Shu said.
Han Xin and the others made way for Lin Shu.
Lin Shu bent down, moved closer to Aunt Liang, and soothed her gently, "Aunt Liang, don't be anxious. We are listening. Speak slowly, speak slowly..."
Aunt Liang seemed to be comforted and her expression was no longer agitated.
Lin Shu put his ear close to Aunt Liang's mouth and heard her say word by word: "No, I want to, agree."
Although he didn't understand what Aunt Liang meant, Lin Shu still stared into her eyes and nodded, saying seriously, "Aunt Liang, we won't agree to this. We promise not to agree to this."
Aunt Liang seemed satisfied and slowly closed her eyes.
"Mom..." Han Xin shouted anxiously.
Lin Shu made a "hush" gesture to him.
"Auntie Liang was just tired and fell asleep." Lin Shu said softly.
Han Xin and the others seemed relieved.
After leaving the room, Han Xin asked anxiously: "Miss Lin, my mother..."
"Auntie Liang will be well soon," Lin Shu said. "Being able to wake up means the blood clots in her brain are mostly gone."
Han Xin and the others looked very happy.
"Little Tiger, how did you find out that grandma woke up?" Lin Shu asked curiously.
