Is Chapter 207 a big problem?

"Mom, Mom... Where's my mom?" Jiang Lai stumbled into the doctor's consultation room in a daze.

Jiang Chunsheng's walnut-shell-like skin was even more deeply etched, almost as if it were twisted into a knot.

Jiang Xue quickly stood up. "These are the patient's immediate family members. I was abandoned when I was a child, so I have nothing to do with them."

Without saying a word, Jiang Xue quickly took Shao Heng's hand and walked out of the consultation room.

"Don't go! You've angered my mother to death! Shouldn't you pay me back?" Jiang Lai grabbed Jiang Xue.

Jiang Xue was so angry she almost laughed, and the doctor also noticed the complexity of this family.

"Your loved one is not dead yet, but has suffered a stroke that has caused hemiplegia. This illness is not sudden; it just happened suddenly," the doctor explained in detail.

Jiang Xue glared at Jiang Lai fiercely, "Why did you hang out with Xie Xiaotian? You were instigated by Xie Xiaotian to hit me. What does that have to do with me? If you're going to be a dog, then be a dog and stop running around biting people."

After Jiang Xue finished speaking, before Jiang Lai could even process what was happening, she strode away gracefully.

Jiang Xue still had an injury on her leg, and gave two yuan for gas to Aunt Zhao's husband who was waiting outside.

Originally, Aunt Zhao's husband refused to accept the money no matter what, but he couldn't persuade Jiang Xue otherwise and had no choice but to accept the two yuan.

Instead of going home on Aunt Zhao's husband's tractor, she went to find Gu Xiaoling. Her legs were in so much pain that she had to find a manual tricycle, which was a modified version of the rickshaw, so that she didn't have to run to pull it, but only had to pedal.

Taxis already existed in this era, but she wanted to save as much as possible before arriving at the shop.

"Your leg isn't healed yet, what are you doing in the city?" Gu Xiaoling quickly put down her work and went to help Jiang Xue.

"You're taking care of two kids, what are you thinking? Can't you stay home?" Gu Xiaoling's tone was complaining, but it was more concerned.

"I can't stay idle. I ran into some unpleasant things, so I had no choice but to come here and chat for a while." Jiang Xue put down Shao Meng.

"Shaoheng, take Shaomeng to play with Aunt Zhou's children."

When Aunt Zhou saw Jiang Xue arrive, she felt guilty and served her a bowl of steaming hot wontons.

"It's cold, eat something warm. No matter how bad things are, don't make yourself suffer." Aunt Zhou's eyes were even more hesitant to look at Jiang Xue.

Jiang Xue immediately noticed Aunt Zhou's worry. "Don't keep thinking about that. Didn't I already say I don't care?"

Jiang Xue gestured for Aunt Zhou to sit down at the doorway, where she could rest and watch the stall.

"I'm taking Xie Chunmei to the hospital today," Jiang Xue said, taking a sip of hot wonton soup.

Gu Xiaoling and Aunt Zhou stared wide-eyed at Jiang Xue in surprise, "You're here to see Xie Chunmei?"

They even thought they had misheard; this was something Jiang Xue would never do.

Jiang Xue smiled faintly and said, "That's right. I took Xie Chunmei to the hospital, and she even came to my house to beat me up. Can you believe how upsetting that was?"

Aunt Zhou shook her head when she heard this. "Your parents are just like mine. And my brother, I've been running a stall in the city for so long, I don't believe he hasn't heard about it."

“Indeed, they usually come to visit their nephew. The money he used to go to university came from the money you got from selling the land. It’s really not worth it.” Gu Xiaoling shook her head, feeling indignant on behalf of Aunt Zhou.

"What can we do? We're stuck with this kind of family, what can we do?" Aunt Zhou's eyes reddened, her voice full of helplessness.

It seems like this is a mountain, and one is stuck under it for life, unable to ever cross it.

Jiang Xue said indifferently with a disdainful look in her eyes, "What can't I do? It's just a temporary upset. I'll treat them the same way they treat me."

Aunt Zhou, puzzled, asked, "Xie Chunmei shouldn't have any major problems, right?"
