Chapter 230 The Child Is Hers

“I gave birth to these children, why should I ask for their opinions? I am their mother, and they must listen to me.” Ji Yun spoke logically and persuasively, completely forgetting the scene of begging her brother to take her two children away.

Jiang Xue felt utterly disgusted by her shameless words. What kind of person was she? Not only was she unreasonable, but she was also so shameless.

"Where did you get this twisted logic from? Get the hell out of here." Jiang Xue was annoyed just looking at him. She sat down next to Shao Heng and asked for a spoonful of steamed egg custard to put in his bowl.

"Oh dear, does a hen that doesn't lay eggs think that other people's babies are her own? If you're going to protect your own calf, you should protect your own, right? What kind of nonsense is it to protect someone else's calf?" Ji Yun stared at Jiang Xue with a sharp and resentful look in her eyes.

"Smack!"

A resounding slap left everyone speechless. "If you still consider me your brother, apologize to your sister-in-law. If not, get the hell out of here. I still have the letter you wrote in your own handwriting on me."

Five bloody handprints were left on Ji Yun's sallow face.

She covered her face, gritted her teeth, and pointed at Ji Chen, "Brother, you actually hit me for an outsider? Are you bewitched by this vixen?"

"Get out!" Ji Chen glared fiercely at Ji Yun. He couldn't stand his irresponsible sister treating the fate of their two children like a joke.

Spring arrived, and Shaoheng went to school in the city, having already made all the necessary arrangements.

Now not only has she come to demand the child, but she's also said some unpleasant things to Jiang Xue. What's the point of having a sister like that? Is she just there to cause trouble?

Ji Yun was completely terrified by Ji Chen's appearance. She hid behind Xie Xiaotian and whispered to Ji Chen, "I don't care, I'm going to take Shao Heng away this time."

Ji Chen was so angry he almost hit her with a stool. "What's the use of telling me? You talk to Shao Heng yourself. If he's willing, then go. If he's not, then get as far away as you can and don't bother us."

Ji Chen stared fiercely at Ji Yun with red eyes.

Jiang Xue hugged Shao Heng and wiped away his tears with her hands. Shao Meng, who was sitting to the side, was too young to have any concept of her mother.

This was the first time Jiang Xue had ever seen Ji Chen lose his temper like this, but Ji Yun continued to run wild in Ji Chen's sensitive areas.

"Shaoheng, tell me, are you willing to go with Mom?" Ji Yun shouted at Shaoheng.

Jiang Xue felt a pang of sadness. The child was not her possession; he was an independent person with his own thoughts. Even as an outsider, she could tell that he truly cared for his mother, let alone the sensitive Shao Heng.

"I don't want to." Shao Heng didn't look up at Ji Yun, but kept holding Jiang Xue's arm.

"You brat, I let you stay for a few days and you don't even recognize me as your mother anymore, huh?" Ji Yun walked up and was about to hit Shao Heng.

Jiang Xue slapped Ji Yun's hand away, saying, "What are you doing? Don't lay a hand on the child."

"I'm his mother, why can't I discipline him?"

Jiang Xue was too lazy to pay attention to this shrew, but fortunately Shao Heng was able to distinguish right from wrong and knew what he wanted.

“I don’t want to go live with you at another uncle’s house. If I do something wrong, you’ll hit me. You hit me every time you argued with Dad before, saying it was my fault.” Shao Heng burst into tears.

Seeing Shaoheng crying so sadly, Jiang Xue felt even more heartbroken and hugged him tightly.

Ji Chen gave Ji Yun a cold look. "You can forget about taking the child away."
