Gu Xiaohei had no choice but to go find Gu Xiaoling, thinking that Gu Xiaoling hadn't been home to see her parents for a long time.
He hurriedly went to the shop where Gu Xiaoling was.
The scene before him almost sent Gu Xiaohei to his death, as Chen Xiaofan was sitting next to Gu Xiaoling.
He put his arm around Gu Xiaoling's waist, and they chatted and laughed.
"Let go of me, what do you think you're doing? I treat you like a brother, and you're here flirting with my sister."
Gu Xiaoling frowned and stood up, scolding, "You really can't say anything nice! What do you mean you treat Xiao Fan like a brother? I've known him for much longer than you have."
Sure enough, Gu Xiaohei always ended up getting hurt.
"Tell me when you two got together?" Although Gu Xiaohei felt hurt, he put on a strong and calm demeanor as the eldest brother.
"They've both met their parents. You, as the older brother, really don't care about your sister at all," Aunt Zhou said, standing at the doorway. She had heard the commotion inside and couldn't help but come over to complain.
Gu Xiaohei was speechless. "I have some business to attend to at the company. You brat, if you don't call me brother-in-law from now on, I'll beat you to death."
Chen Xiaofan originally had a rebellious streak; in the past, he would have retorted, "Who do you think you are?"
But he won't do that now, because he feels he'll be beaten to death by Gu Xiaoling if he does.
"Brother-in-law, from now on, whatever you say goes, and I'll listen to everything you say."
Seeing that Chen Xiaofan's attitude was good, Gu Xiaohei beckoned Chen Xiaofan over and whispered in Chen Xiaofan's ear, "Tell me, how do you pursue a girl?"
Upon hearing this, Chen Xiaofan realized that this was simply asking about how to win over a wife; he certainly wasn't going to tell him directly how he had managed to win over Gu Xiaoling.
He smiled wickedly and said, "Let me tell you, it was actually your sister who pursued me."
Gu Xiaohei glared at Chen Xiaofan with gritted teeth, "Just you wait, I'll go back and ask my mom for a bigger dowry."
After he finished speaking, he angrily turned to leave.
Aunt Zhou suddenly stepped forward and stopped Gu Xiaohei, saying, "Why don't you eat some wontons before you leave? You live alone, and it'll be cold and empty when you go back."
Aunt Zhou was telling the truth.
Gu Xiaohei initially felt that Aunt Zhou was genuinely looking out for him, and he was even a little touched. But when he glanced at her, he saw Chen Xiaofan looking at him with a smug expression.
Chen Xiaofan leaned against the door frame and said leisurely, "Xiaoling, what should we eat tonight?"

When Chen Xiaofan saw Gu Xiaohei leave in a huff, he and Aunt Zhou couldn't stop smiling.
Seeing Chen Xiaofan teasing her brother like this, Gu Xiaoling knew she wouldn't tolerate it. She didn't care if Chen Xiaofan was a little wild in the past.
How dare he act so disrespectfully in front of her family? He must be tired of living.
She quietly walked behind Chen Xiaofan, stood on tiptoe, and grabbed his ear. "What are you laughing at?"
Chen Xiaofan then realized that his mother, the "tiger mom," had come to settle scores with him. "I was chatting and laughing with Aunt Zhou."
Aunt Zhou, always quick to judge a book by its cover, casually remarked, "He's mocking his brother-in-law for being all alone."
Upon hearing this, Gu Xiaoling was immediately enveloped in a chilling aura.
Chen Xiaofan turned around and met Gu Xiaoling's eyes, which looked like they wanted to tear him apart. He was so frightened that he immediately turned and ran away.
