Chapter 46 Before I go abroad, remember to think of me…
At 6:30 p.m., Shen Huai'an walked out of the procuratorate gate carrying his bag. The security guard at the gate greeted him, "Prosecutor Shen, are you leaving get off work so early today?"

But before Shen Huai'an could even find an opportunity to surprise Bai Zhenzhen, she gave him a huge surprise herself.
"The flight is confirmed? Okay, I understand." Bai Zhenzhen hung up the phone, her brows furrowing slightly, revealing a somewhat hesitant expression.

Amidst the noisy surroundings of people coming and going, Shen Huai'an held Bai Zhenzhen's hand and gave her a final reminder of the precautions, telling her to call him as soon as she landed and settled in to let him know she was safe.
Bai Zhenzhen didn't mind his nagging anymore. When the ticket check announcement came on, she dropped her luggage and rushed into Shen Huai'an's arms, where he held her tightly.
At this moment, the emotions of parting reached their peak, and Bai Zhenzhen felt a little down. Only then did she realize that Shen Huai'an had already unknowingly entered her heart.
"Shen Huai'an, I will miss you," she buried her head in his chest, her voice muffled as she urged, "You must miss me too, okay?"
“Yes, I’ll miss you too,” Shen Huai’an wanted to look at her one last time. He reached out and lifted her face, but when he saw her slightly red eyes, his heart skipped a beat. He couldn’t help but lower his head and gently kiss her forehead. “What should I do, Zhenzhen? I’m already starting to miss you.”

Secretary Wang wore her usual smile. "Mr. Shen, rest assured, my boss received the news early this morning and has already arranged for someone to wait outside the airport upon arrival. I will also do my best to take good care of Miss on this flight."
He was not only accompanying Bai Zhenzhen abroad, but also reporting on the company's situation to Bai Chuxiong; he had a mission to complete.
After everyone said their goodbyes, Secretary Wang helped Bai Zhenzhen carry her suitcase and took her to check in.

It wasn't until he arrived at the sanatorium and met Bai Chuxiong, and switched to the foreign communication equipment Bai Chuxiong had prepared in advance, that he remembered to call Shen Huai'an.
It was the early hours of the morning in China, but Shen Huai'an answered the phone very quickly, clearly having been waiting with the time on his mind.
After Bai Zhenzhen answered the phone, she listened to his concerned words and greetings to Bai Chuxiong. She coughed twice and remembered to inquire about his situation. Bai Chuxiong took her to a suite at the sanatorium to rest. On the way, he told her, "You're recovering very well. Do you want to stay here with me for the next few days, or should I find someone to accompany you to a hotel in the city center?"

"Since you're going abroad, treat it as a vacation. When you have free time, have someone accompany you to explore the area and see different scenery."
Bai Zhenzhen blinked. She was indeed tempted by her father's suggestion, but she didn't forget the purpose of her trip. She decided to stay with him at the sanatorium for the next few days before happily going on a trip with the people arranged by her father.
Perhaps she was having too much fun and forgot about home, because Shen Huai'an, who was far away in China, felt neglected. Being so far away, he didn't know what was going on, and he couldn't help but feel worried. It wasn't until he learned from Bai's father what Bai Zhenzhen had been busy with lately that he showed a somewhat unspeakable expression.
