Xu Changshan and the others had just arrived home when, to their surprise, there wasn't even a place to sit.
The room was empty, and the windows were wide open.
Xin Li pinched herself, her eyes instantly reddening: "You're finally back! I was in the bathroom yesterday when the house was robbed, and all the money you gave me is gone. Dad, can you give me another 30,000 yuan? I only have enough money left to buy these fabrics."
Xu Changshan almost choked on his breath. "Give me another 30,000 yuan? Do you think your family owns a money printing factory? What's going on here?"
Before Xin Li could answer, two policemen suddenly entered. "Excuse me, which one of you is Xu Qingyu and Ji Yubai?"

"Xu Changshan is such a jerk. Xin Li is his daughter, yet the whole family only bullies him."
Everyone knows that the two daughters of the Xu family were betrothed at a young age; one was a military officer from a poor, remote village, and the other was a young master from a wealthy family.
It turns out all the good things were given to the stepmother's daughter!
