"Calm down, Miss Granger!" Felix asked, "You need to tell me how long it has been since you and Harry last met? Can you determine his location now? How did he track the basilisk?"
Hermione said quickly, "No more than 5 minutes, Professor. We speculate that the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is in Myrtle's bathroom, so we agreed to meet there. Harry located the basilisk through Parseltongue..."
"Very good," Felix interrupted her, waving his wand, and a silver light flew out from the tip of the wand, condensing into a small bird in the air. It was suspended in the air with a pair of narrow sickle-shaped wings. Felix said loudly, "Principal Dumbledore, Harry
Potter is tracking the basilisk of the Chamber of Secrets alone. Please come to Myrtle's abandoned bathroom as soon as possible. There is a high probability that the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is located there."
After that, the small bird flapped its wings and turned into a stream of light and disappeared in an instant.
"Professor, what kind of magic is this?" Even in an emergency, the little witch couldn't help asking.
"The Patronus Charm, it can help you resist Dementors, or send a message temporarily.
" "Is it a kind of swift?"
"Yes, it's very fast."
"Let's go to the bathroom first." Felix said to Hermione, "You can tell me what happened on the way."
When the two of them almost arrived at Myrtle's bathroom, Felix had already figured out the situation.
Harry, Ron and Hermione sat in the hall and quickly finished their dinner. They looked at each other and slipped out tacitly.
"It's 6:20 now," Hermione said to the two before the action: "We have about 40 minutes. As long as we get back with the main force and return to the common room before 7 o'clock, no one will find out that we have been out."
They planned to confront Professor Happ, gain his trust, and then report the information about the secret room to Headmaster Dumbledore.
But something went wrong halfway -
"Tear you apart... want to kill people... thirst for blood..."
When they passed a dim corridor, Harry suddenly heard this voice, and he shouted: "It's the basilisk! It's out!"
"Did you hear it?" Ron said nervously.
Harry rushed out, climbed up a flight of stairs, and kept searching with his ears erect. He seemed to hear a slight friction sound, so he ran wildly, with Ron and Hermione following closely behind.
But the sound was intermittent, and Harry would lose it from time to time, so he had to climb up and down to confirm the location.
The three of them ran for most of the day and were exhausted and panting.
"It went back? Maybe it just came out for a walk?" Ron asked expectantly.
"Absolutely not!" Harry said, "It wants to kill people, it said it craves blood!"
"Tear you apart... target..."
Harry raised his head suddenly, and the voice was above his head.
"It's upstairs!"
Harry ran upstairs quickly, leaving Ron and Hermione far behind.
Turning a corner, he saw Justin coming from the other side of the corridor alone.
"It came out... kill people... tear into pieces..."
Harry's expression was terrified, and it was too late. He shouted to Justin: "Close your eyes, Justin! Close your eyes, the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets is coming out!"
Justin had been hiding from Harry these days. Hearing this, he asked in astonishment: "What?"
Harry didn't have time to explain. He had clearly heard the sound of "clicking, clicking". It must be the basilisk. It was about to come out and kill people!
"Obstacles!" Harry took out his wand and knocked Justin away with an obstacle spell. There was still surprise and panic on his face.
Harry pounced on Justin and tried to drag him away. It was not easy. After Justin got rid of the spell, he struggled desperately and the two were entangled.
"What are you going to do? Harry, what are you going to do!"
"Shut up! I'm saving your life!" Harry punched him hard to make him quiet down. "Listen! The monster in the Chamber of Secrets is out. Its eyes can kill people, so close your eyes quickly."
The sound of "OO@@" came, which was particularly clear in the corridor.
Justin closed his eyes tightly and his body couldn't stop shaking. Harry also closed his eyes, while groping for his wand with one hand - during the brief fight between the two, his wand fell to the ground.
"Are we going to die, Harry? I don't want to die, Harry, I'm sorry I misunderstood you." Justin said incoherently.
"Shut up!" Harry yelled, and the corridor echoed clearly.
He hit a small wooden stick, which was his wand, but he had no way to fight the basilisk, and his eyes were still closed!
A door was knocked open, and the "click-click" sound was getting closer and closer. Harry judged that the basilisk was less than two meters away from them. Maybe its head was hanging in front of him?
He even smelled a pungent fishy smell.
"Get out of here!" he shouted.
"What?" Justin asked tremblingly.
"Not you, get out of here!"
Justin only understood the first half of the sentence. The second half of the sentence came out of Harry's mouth with a creepy sound, like the "hissing" sound of a snake, but much more terrifying than that.
It was Parseltongue, and he woke up instantly.
Harry kept speaking Parseltongue, telling the basilisk to "leave here" and "go back", which worked, and the sound of the basilisk moving stopped.
But it did not move away, instead it responded, "Kill... the master's order... tear... clear the Muggles..."
"Leave here!" Harry said in Parseltongue, "I command you to leave here!" Thanks to the fact that he had been using magic scrolls for the past two days, he became quite proficient in Parseltongue.
"The master's order..."
"Your master and I are best friends, we are in the same group, listen! You are in danger now, a powerful wizard is coming! Leave here quickly!" Harry kept urging, he didn't know if it would work, but Hermione heard from Professor Happ that Parseltongue could control snakes.
He didn't know if it was true or not, but he could only pray in his heart that it was true.
Finally, the basilisk took action, Harry held his breath, waiting for the judgment of fate - fortunately, the sound of the basilisk sliding became farther and farther away, and finally disappeared.
"Can't stop killing... The next attack... will be soon... We've been patient for too long..." These were the words Harry heard from the ceiling. It seemed that the basilisk had returned to the pipe.
Justin collapsed on the ground trembling, looking frightened.
"It's over." Harry opened his eyes.
A few seconds later, Hermione and Ron chased after him breathlessly, "Harry, what happened?" They lost him and took a long detour.
Harry said in fear, "The basilisk wanted to attack Justin, and I stopped it."
"What - Oh, God!" Hermione pointed to the scratches on the ground, "This is..."
"Yes, I met it head-on."
