Chapter 13 Bourbon, Scotland
I watched my friend leave the room and prepare to explore other places.
Bourbon was at the door and exchanged a look with him, urging them to be cautious. They both knew how dangerous this would be.
If discovered, the undercover career will most likely come to an end. Not only that, after the undercover identity is discovered, only a handful of people can survive.
Neither the organization nor the ruthless boss will let them off easily. The truth is so cruel.
But even so, collecting intelligence is still urgent, as is the identity of an undercover agent.
Scotland carefully lowered his footsteps and tried to observe carefully before setting off.
Bourbon leaned leisurely against the doorway with his arms folded across his chest, staring intently at the figure busying around and kneeling on the bed, searching for the slender waist.
Bourbon thought for no reason about the fragile body of the young master.
Perhaps only wealthy families can maintain such a pampered body.
Before leaving, An You was packing some belongings.
One who wasn't paying attention saw a pile of things that had almost formed a small mountain. Bourbon asked in surprise, "What is this? What did you bring?"
An You said seriously, "These are all very important items. I'll need them in the future."
Bourbon lowered his arms, his brows furrowed, and he reluctantly opened his package.
"It's not my thing to check your bags, but you still have too much stuff. If you put your luggage there, you won't have anywhere to stay, unless you plan on sitting in the trunk."
Bourbon opened his luggage and pulled out a one-meter-tall stuffed bear doll. He asked in confusion, "What did you bring this for?"
An You explained: "This is my good friend. I have to hold it in my arms before I can sleep."
Bourbon's face twisted for a moment.
He said expressionlessly, "Is that so?"
"But this is too big, there's no need to carry it."
Bourbon grabbed the huge doll without hesitation.
The doll drew a curve in the air, accompanied by An You's screaming expression.
"No~"
The rest of the inspection went much more smoothly. Apart from the large dolls, there were only some simple clothes and a collection of jokes. After packing up these items, Bourbon transferred them back into a backpack, which was at least convenient for carrying.
Bourbon is not a heartless person. As long as it does not hinder their driving safety, he can take anything else.
After deciding what to bring, An You threw the backpack onto his back. His spine bent like a fleeing groundhog, he said excitedly, "Let's go."
“…”
Bourbon looked at him helplessly, but didn't say anything more and took him out.
Bourbon opened the white sedan and motioned to him, "Put your things in."
After An You put his backpack away, he climbed into the car. He looked at the two white sedans, small to medium-sized cars with Shinjuku license plates.
An You looked left and right, but couldn't recognize the brand for a moment.
"Is this the white model of Porsche?"
Bourbon looked up, "No, just a very ordinary car model."
An You looked up and said, "Yeah, I saw Gin driving a Porsche. I thought all the members of the organization were equipped with luxury cars."
Bourbon was silent.
"Is your car performing okay?" An You fumbled around the driver's seat, wanting to give it a try. But the winding mountain roads here were so difficult his driving skills weren't up to par. Ever since his last crash, he'd been hesitant to try.
Bourbon: "Average. Not as good as a Porsche."
An You tried to comfort her, "The car is just a thing outside of your body. Let's not talk about it. You must be more capable than me."
Bourbon: "It's just average. Not as good as gin."
Two of them said something sarcastic and silent.
An You opened her mouth awkwardly, but found that nothing she said was appropriate. After all, she was the one who got angry in the first place. Finally, she patted him on the shoulder.
“Okay, although your car is not as good as Gin’s, I believe that if you work hard and get promoted, you can also achieve Gin’s achievements, and you will naturally have the opportunity to drive a luxury car in the future.”
Bourbon almost laughed out of anger, "Really? Thank you so much."
Bourbon leaned against the car door, staring in the direction of the villa. Half an hour had passed. Why hadn't they come out yet? Was it because the search had wasted time, or had they encountered some crisis and been discovered?
If it's the latter, then it's really troublesome.
It was hard for him not to think too much when he was in a dangerous environment.
An You waited in the car for a long time, not understanding why they hadn't left yet. It wasn't until he remembered there were two people and the other one hadn't gotten on the car that he suddenly realized, "Oh, right, where's the other person? Hasn't he come back yet?"
An You jumped out of the car and said, "Maybe he got lost in the villa area. Let's look for him."
"Can."
An You was more familiar with the villa area, so she naturally walked in front and led the way. She did not see the young man with cat eyes in the bathroom.
There was no trace of him either in the inner or outer room, as if he had disappeared.
An You was confused. "Strange! Wasn't he going to the restroom? The direction I pointed him in was correct. How come I couldn't find him?"
"Maybe he got lost. It's not a big deal. We can find him."
An You quickly found a reason, comforted herself, and started her plan to find someone.
Although the villa area was complicated and he had not walked through many places, he was half the owner of the place and knew more about it than Bourbon, so he led the way in front.
Sure enough, he heard faint sounds of quarreling in the spare room.
An You opened the door and jumped in, "I heard it, there is someone here!"
The two people confronting each other looked at him at the same time, one was Scotland and the other was the butler.
An You looked at the two people staring at him awkwardly. Should he say it was a coincidence or was it just good luck?
The butler was the first to react, "Master, stay away from here. This person is very suspicious. He sneaked into the vacant room and I don't know what he is searching for."
Anyou's computer crashed. "Ah."
"Not really. He was the driver who came to pick me up. He must have gotten lost in the huge villa complex."
Scotland naturally followed the excuse he gave and explained, "It's like this, I got lost here and wanted to go back to the young master's bedroom to look for someone, but I couldn't remember the way back, and then I met you."
The butler didn't seem to trust the other party very much, but he had no evidence. In addition, An You said that he knew the other party, so even if he had doubts, he had to give the young master some face.
An You was anxious to leave, so she grabbed the young man's wrist and said, "If there's no problem, we'll leave first. If you have any questions, don't come to me. Keeping quiet is the best quality for a housekeeper."
The butler wanted to continue the interrogation, "That..."
An You's steps were so fast that she couldn't hear his calls and just kept walking forward. The housekeeper could only watch her figure getting farther and farther away.
Scotland and Bourbon followed behind him. As soon as their eyes met, they guessed each other's thoughts.
It was too dangerous, I was almost taken to the boss, luckily An You appeared in time.
But they were still extremely vigilant, as they knew very little about this young master.
Scotland's behavior is very suspicious. If he is as cautious and suspicious as Gin, he will be doomed.
Before An You spoke, both of them were in a state of tension.
How will this heir speak? Will he doubt their intentions, or will he directly contact the powerful Gin to deal with them?
Arriving at the parking lot, An You walked up consciously and asked, "Who's the driver?"
Bourbon came back to his senses. He didn't expect this to be the topic, but his worries disappeared briefly. "Let me drive."
An You sat in the back seat and said, "I'm ready, I'm ready, ready to go, drivers!"
Scotland said with sweat dripping down his face, "I have a name, Scotland, no need to call me driver master. He is Bourbon, we are both members of the organization, and I hope to receive your guidance in the future."
An You blinked: "Hello, just call me An You, no need to use the title of Young Master."
Scotland: "Anyou, okay, thank you for coming to find me just now, otherwise I would really get lost in the villa."
An You stared at him. The social niceties were so complicated and confusing, and at the same time, her own social skills were rather low. "You're welcome. Can I go home now?"
The method of changing the subject was abrupt enough. Scotland looked down at him and probably understood that he didn't intend to care about the fact that he got lost in another room, or perhaps his personality was not that of a suspicious person.
Scotland's eyes moved, and his tense brows relaxed a little. "Okay, I'll be back right away."
The mountain road was rugged, and the two members got into a white car and drove away.
The two handsome young men in front of An You spontaneously took the driver's seat and the passenger seat respectively, as if they were already accustomed to such seat arrangement.
No, shouldn't he be their leader? Why didn't anyone think of inviting him to sit in the passenger seat?
Leaving him alone in the back seat is outrageous.
The white car was driving very steadily. It was almost dusk when it left. The thin clouds were burned brilliantly by the warm colors. In a trance, even the villa area was dyed golden, and the towering buildings in the jungle were gradually moving away.
An You's gaze fell on the sunset in the sky. Time passed quickly.
They only stayed in the villa area for a little longer, and the sky had already turned dim.
Although the winding mountain road is steep and has guardrails around it, there is a cliff below, which always makes people feel scared when driving.
But when An You saw the serious and solemn expression of the blond young man in front of her, who looked very reliable, her worries were quickly put aside. After all, he looked like a very good driver.
But it felt safer to ask. "Oh, I forgot to ask, Bourbon, how's your driving?"
The blond young man said without turning his head: "I can't say it's good, but it's not bad either."
An You was confused by his ambiguous answer, "Then can I rest assured about you? I want to return to Tokyo safely and alive."
"...Then you're probably going to be disappointed."
An You shuddered, "No, what does that mean? Why is it so scary?"
Scotland, whose voice was even more gentle and charming, turned around and joined their conversation with a smile, "Haha, don't worry, he was just joking, there won't be any accidents."
Although I don’t know whether they will fail, but at this point, I can only trust Bourbon.
An You accidentally fell asleep during the bumpy ride. As for not being on guard, there was nothing he could do. He was not good at dealing with a shaking car, and it was a great achievement for him to stay awake for a while.
It was unknown how long it took before An You woke up from his drowsiness. He yawned and found that it was pitch black outside. An You leaned against the window, and the headlights illuminated a rugged mountain road.
At this moment, the car suddenly braked and stopped. An You didn't react in time and bumped into the back seat in front.
Fortunately, the person in front of him was a Scotsman, who had a more Buddhist and gentle temperament, and did not get angry even after receiving a strong headbutt from him.
Scotland asked quietly, "What's wrong? What happened?"
Bourbon: "The car broke down."
"What."
Just woke up, and was hit by the shocking bad news. An You was shocked, and it seemed that any extra emotions were not suitable for him at the moment. An You climbed out of the back seat of the car.
"What's going on?"
