Chapter 16 Child Psychology in Scotland

Chapter 16 Child Psychology in Scotland

"Be quiet, you should rest. As you know, the weather is bad now, so please go to bed early, which is better for your health."

Unexpectedly, An You became even more aggressive. She twisted her body and dodged from under his arm like a nimble badger.

Not only did he crawl out of the bed, he even draped the quilt over his shoulders, dragging his long tail, and singing triumphantly: "A new storm has appeared, how can we stop moving forward?"

The singing voice was even louder than the noise made by the laughter just now.

Scotland went to grab his quilt, but he didn't expect that he was unusually agile at this time.

"You can't catch me, because I'm a nimble monkey from the mountains. Woo-hoo-woo-hoo~" He said, imitating a few monkey calls.

Even though Scotland had a good upbringing and a very good temper, he gradually became unable to tolerate it.

The smiling mask on his face was cracking a little.

"Be quiet, don't make so much noise, there are people watching us outside."

Since the soft approach won't listen, he can only use the hard approach.

Scotland grabbed him from the foot of the bed to the head of the bed. The mountain monkey was as slippery as a loach and didn't give him any chance to catch him.

This kid.

Scotland grabbed his quilt and planned to wrap himself and the quilt together and pull him over. When the quilt passed by, Scotland grabbed it with his quick hands.

The chaos just now allowed Scotland's palm to grab a slippery and somewhat cold place.

Looking closely, it turned out to be An You's ankle.

An You was tripped and was in danger, but he reacted extremely quickly at this time. His hands and feet were nimble enough that he climbed up the cabinet in the blink of an eye and squatted on it, not giving himself a chance to get close.

Scotland looked up and saw that An You, who was curled up on the cabinet, had already thrown off the quilt. She put her feet on the cabinet and was looking around, full of curiosity.

In a flash, an idea popped into Scotland's mind, which was outrageous but also very consistent with the current situation.

The young master wouldn't think that I was playing a joke on him, right?

How else to explain it? I just caught him sleeping and then I climbed up the pole without caring about my image.

It looked like that. There was a hint of expectation in An You's expression. He was expecting that he would continue to play with him.

An You hid on a high cabinet, but found that it was easy to go up but difficult to come down. This was bad.

Scotland also saw his predicament and sighed, "You can't get down, please jump to me."

An You hesitated for a moment, feeling that it was not appropriate to go down at this time.

Scotland stared at him for a while, and seeing that he was reluctant to come down, he felt confused. Could it be that his tone was too harsh and scared him? But that shouldn't be the case. His tone was gentle enough. Even doting.

He tried to analyze the other party's behavior using child psychology, and seemed to understand something. This young master shouldn't be worried that he was teasing him.

"Master? Come down now. No more chasing games. This game is not safe."

"You really won't arrest me again?"

Scotland was tired, thinking that this was indeed his idea: "Those who don't know how, come."

After finally picking up the little guy, Scotland stuffed him into the bed and confiscated his collection of jokes, the culprit.

Until the night deepened, listening to the sound of the rain and the occasional thunder, An You began to yawn.

Scotland reached out and tucked the corner of the quilt. "Are you sleepy? Then go to sleep. There's no need to force yourself."

An You looked listless and didn't react at all when he tidied up the quilt.

He was almost knocked over by the car, and Scotland rarely saw him being so well-behaved, so he quietly approached and touched his cheek.

"Leave the candle by your bed. Blow it out when you feel sleepy. Remember this."

An You, who was originally dazed, glared: "You just touched my feet and then my face?"

Scotland smiled and smoothed the messy hair around his cheek again, "Sorry, I'll pay more attention next time."

Scotland left, and An You felt sleepy after lying in bed for a while. It would be better to sleep than to stay up late.

An You wrapped herself tightly in the quilt, not forgetting Scotland's arrangements, and blew out the candles.

After tossing and turning for a long time, Anyou slept very well.

It was Scotland that was really having trouble sleeping.

It was pouring rain. Such extreme weather was rarely seen, but they happened to witness it. They could only explain it as being unlucky.

The car broke down and the villa had no power, which gave him a feeling of tightness in his chest. There were more and more problems, and the situation they had to face would become increasingly complicated.

He couldn't sleep well in the unknown environment, but it was late at night and his friends were probably asleep.

He spent nearly an hour in Anyou's room just coaxing the child.

Now if I go out to discuss something with my friend, I am worried about disturbing his sleep.

Scotland lay next to him, slowly closing his eyes.

In the dark room, An You seemed to smell the scent of damp earth, mixed with the coolness of the rainy season, which suddenly hit his face.

The coldness in the dream became particularly obvious, as if the cold wind was blowing on my cheeks.

An You opened her eyes drowsily and looked around the room. The rain outside had subsided a bit and the rumbling thunder was faint.

When he was lying down, his shoulders felt especially cold, a damp chill that penetrated deep into his bones, corroding him.

An You thought she had kicked the quilt, and turned over in a daze, and a faint flash of lightning streaked across the sky.

An You subconsciously looked inside the room and suddenly discovered something unusual. There was a black shadow in the dark room.

Dark shadow, wait, his room is closed, and he is alone before going to bed, so where does the back figure come from?

An You rubbed his eyes and saw more clearly. There was indeed a black shadow. The shadow was so dim that it almost completely blended into the darkness.

It seemed as if he was searching for something. In the silent night, he could only hear his own breathing and the faint sound of footsteps in the room.

Who was in his room, what was he looking for, why was he so sneaky, and where did he come from?

An You looked up and accidentally saw the wide-open window.

The biting cold wind and drizzle, with raindrops drifting in through the window, woke him up from the cold.

No wonder the air was so cold. It turned out that someone broke into his room through the window.

An You poked half of his head out from under the covers. His phone was on the table, and the room was pitch black, so it was not easy to find him. It would be easy to alert the other party.

The other party kept rummaging through his backpack, and An You immediately realized that it was an intentional theft.

But when a flash of lightning struck, An You saw clearly the shining weapon in the other party's hand, and almost lost his life.

A shiny knife.

Oh my god, his life is in danger even if he takes a nap.

Who dares to sleep like this?

An You was about to make a desperate move, but the rustling footsteps stopped in front of him.

An You quietly leaned out from the stuffy bed to see more clearly. A dark shadow was looming right above him.

Although he couldn't see the face clearly, An You could clearly sense that the other person was spying on him in the dim light from the window. The twisted head was particularly obvious.

The way he lowered his head to search looked like he was suffering from sleep paralysis.

Fireworks suddenly exploded in my mind, and all the thoughts of waiting for the opportunity and pretending to be asleep were thrown out of my mind.

The only thought in my mind now is to save his life!

“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!”

An You couldn't hold back her physiological fear. The unknown observation in the dark was really creepy.

An You jumped out of the bed, it was no longer safe there.

The black shadow was startled and immediately reached out to grab it.

An You rolled and crawled, escaping very smoothly and standing on a high cabinet. It was pitch dark on the other side, and it was impossible to find the direction, let alone the person who flew out.

The man subconsciously fumbled in the air, looking quite exasperated.

After the first cry for help, not only Scotland who was the closest to the house next door, I guess everyone in the entire villa could hear his wailing.

Soon, there was a knock on his door, and the voices of Scotland and Bourbon called out from outside.

"Anyou, what happened?"

There was no reply, and the two banged on the door. The shadow didn't dare to linger any longer, and soon stepped on the window and left. His movements were as swift as a ghost.

The door lock was knocked loose, giving them the opportunity to come in. The flashlight swept in, and the sufficient light instantly illuminated most of the room. The sudden light made their pupils hurt.

Once he recovered, Scotland walked over to the bedside table and lit a candle.

The soft candlelight illuminated An You's profile.

An You was still immersed in panic and was terrified to no end.

Bourbon naturally stepped forward first and noticed the fluttering curtains and the muddy footprints on the ground.

Bourbon followed the footprints and leaned over the window to look out. The figure had disappeared, but it was obvious that the person had escaped through the window.

Shine the flashlight, the forest outside the window is pitch black, his face is subtly unhappy: "Someone broke in, and ran pretty fast."

"Come down." Scotland gathered the candle flame and placed it on the table. Looking at An You squatting on the cabinet, he sighed helplessly, "Could it be that you were born in the year of the cat and are good at climbing high places?"

Scotland naturally reached out to rescue her, and An You climbed along his wrist. However, An You was frightened and didn't have the strength to jump from the height, so he grabbed her waist and lifted her down.

Bourbon narrowed his eyes and watched the two men's actions for a while. Something was wrong. What was this kid doing? Why did he approach Hiro again and again to snatch the young girl?

Is poaching so blatant now?!

"Who on earth would think of hurting you? We've only been here a short time."

Scotland asked Anyou: "Do you remember what the other person looks like?"

An You tilted her head, "It was very dark, and she kept tilting her neck, holding a knife that was flashing."

Upon hearing this, a flash of surprise and worry crossed their eyes. If they hadn't arrived in time, it would have been disastrous. Knives were inherently dangerous, and An You had no ability to protect herself.

Bourbon held his forehead wearily, "I didn't expect someone would break in through the window."

Scotland sat at the head of the bed: "But I'm also glad that Anyou hid in a high place, otherwise it would be dangerous."

At this moment, hurried footsteps were heard outside the door.

The old woman came in wearing slippers and holding a candle. Seeing the broken window, she exclaimed, "Oh my God, what happened?"

Bourbon explained: "Someone broke into his room."

The old woman was surprised: "That's terrible! How are people?"

Bourbon shook his head. "Nothing unexpected happened, but the other party is holding a knife and there's a good chance they'll come back. Everyone, please be careful from now on."

The woman in the kimono heard the whole story from behind and asked tremblingly, "Could it be that the man has come back?"

Her concerns were met with a rebuke from the old woman, "What nonsense are you talking about?"
