Chapter 4 Cupid's Flight Diary 04

Qiu Xin laughed. "Is that even a question? Is there anyone else alive here besides you?"
Only then did Jing Ran slowly stand up, put the watering can aside, washed his hands and walked towards her.
"Your legs are weak, aren't they? Are you still being naughty?" He walked up to her and asked in a low voice.
She hooked her arms around his neck and raised her body to rub his chest. "I'm hungry."
He couldn't do anything with her, so he slapped her butt unhappily, took her in his arms and went back to the kitchen to make her something to eat.
After lunch, the two of them decided to go out.
In fact, Qiu Xin was very familiar with this place. She knew where the food was delicious, where the shops were good, and where the sights were beautiful. She was not here for tourism, so she just dragged Jing Ran around aimlessly on the street.
If you want to see something, go into the store and take a look. If you want to eat something, buy it and eat it. If you are tired, stop and rest for a while.
Needless to say, he was very good-tempered towards her. He would do whatever she was told to do, and he always knew what she wanted to do before she did.
"Did you install a bug in my heart?" She finally couldn't help asking after he came back with ice cream. "You understand me better than my roundworms."
He handed her the ice cream and glanced at her sideways. "I raised you with my own hands, how could I not know?"
When he said this, he deliberately glanced under her collar as a double entendre. Qiu Xin blushed and punched him, but still smiled and handed the ice cream to his mouth for him to have a taste.
The two walked to a street park and met an elderly foreign couple with gray hair. They greeted them, and the old woman smiled and said, "You two seem to have a very good relationship."
"Yeah," the old man chimed in, "It reminds me of when my wife and I were young and just got married."
A long time ago, when Qiu Xin and Jing Ran were still in high school and were in love, they had this conversation. At that time, Jing Ran was so handsome that he could attract girls from a hundred miles around, and he would kill anyone he saw. She laughed at him with a mixture of jealousy and smugness, "What's the point of you being so handsome now? Won't you still be an old man with white hair in a few decades?"
Jing Ran smiled slightly, revealing his white teeth. He grabbed her hand and said with a smile, "Yes, but I am your handsome grandfather, and I am different from other grandfathers."
The old couple's words made Qiu Xin feel sweet subconsciously in his heart, but then he realized something was wrong. He turned his head to look at Jing Ran beside him. Although his eyebrows were smiling, the haze in his eyes was still there, even more serious.
The relationship was indeed good, and no matter how much time had passed, it was still as good as conjoined twins, but she didn't even give him a clear status, and she even touched his most painful spot - they were not just married, she was clearly engaged to another man.
The guilt and bitterness that had been accumulating in her heart since last night had become even heavier, as if it was about to reach a critical point of explosion. She didn't know what that critical point meant, she only knew that she didn't want to see an expression like Jing Ran's again.
After saying goodbye to the old couple, the two sat in silence on a bench in the park for a while. She finished the ice cream in her hand and reached out to grab the corner of his clothes.
"What's wrong?" He asked in a low voice, as if he was thinking about something.
“I want to go back,” she said.
"Aren't you going to walk around for a while?" He was a little surprised and glanced at his watch. "It's still early. It's not even completely dark yet."
"I know," she looked into his eyes, "I've seen enough of this city. I want to see more of you."
Jing Ran was stunned when he heard this. After a while, it seemed as if a small flame lit up in his eyes.
After a long pause, he raised the corner of his mouth slightly, "Qiu Xin, are you really not afraid that you won't be able to return home?"
"Don't be afraid," she leaned over, gently kissed him on the cheek, and said in his ear, "Jing Ran, I want you to love me without considering my feelings."
...
Because she was in the park, Jing Ran went crazy again as expected.
In the end, both of them were soaked, as if they had just come out of the water.
"...You are such a desperate woman," he gasped.
She smiled and pushed him away, turned around and jumped on him, "Is your man born in the year of the dog?"
"That's also a big wolfdog," he carried her into the bedroom.
"Yes, big wolfdog," she said, gently prying the corners of his eyes and mouth with her hands, "Smile more. You look the best when you smile. I love to see you smile the most."
Jing Ran paused for a moment after hearing her words, then he looked into her eyes and said, "As long as you stay here, by my side, I will keep smiling."
Qiu Xin's heart ached again, and then she didn't say anything, pulled his neck and pushed him onto the bed.
After the lovemaking finally stopped, they both lay flat on the bed to calm their breathing. He was in a bad mood and she remained silent. Although they had just done the most intimate thing, there seemed to be a gap between them.
"I'm going to take a shower." After a while, he got up from the bed and went to the bathroom first without holding her.
With red eyes, she watched him go into the bathroom, slam the door loudly, and then raised her hand to rub her red eyes.
After looking at the ceiling for a while and listening to the sound of water in the bathroom, she walked to the table with her weak body and took out her mobile phone which she had not turned on since arriving in Zurich.
After turning on the phone, countless WeChat messages came in quickly, and many of them were from the same people, her fiancé, her parents, but she didn't click on any of them.
She just clicked into her boss's WeChat chat box and replied to the message her boss sent: "You haven't been to work for two days. Are you sick? Is it serious?"
[I'm not sick, boss. I'm resigning. I'll formally hand over my resignation to you when I get back. Sorry.]
After sending this message, she logged out of WeChat and booked a flight back home two days later.
After doing this, she turned off her phone again and slowly walked to the bathroom.
Jing Ran had finished taking a shower and was standing in front of the mirror blowing his hair. She walked behind him and gently hugged him from behind.
It's strange that in this world, only when she hugs this person will she feel truly safe and secure.
It was obvious that Jing Ran's body tensed up for a moment, but soon relaxed.
After waiting for him to finish drying her hair, he put down the hair dryer and pulled her in front of him.
"I didn't mean to lose my temper with you," he lowered his eyebrows, the gentleness in his beautiful eyes seemed to melt ice and snow, "Given our situation, please also understand my feelings."
"I understand," she said, looking at him word by word, "so I'm going back."
