Chapter 5 Cupid's Flight Diary 05
05
Jing Ran's face froze at a speed visible to the naked eye.
After being frozen for two seconds, his whole face darkened. His eyes, which had always been gentle and gazing at her, were devoid of any emotion. He said to her, "What did you just say?"
Qiu Xin was not afraid either. He looked into his eyes and repeated, "I said I want to go back."
He said, "Where to go back?"
"T City."
All the muscles in his body were tense. The next second, he shook off both of her arms that were holding him and pushed her away from him.
After a terrifying silence, he sneered, pointed at her and said, "Qiu Xin, I really want to strangle you to death."
"I know you want to strangle me," she shrugged. "But even if I stay here, stay with you for a long time, and make love to you every day, I will eventually have to go back. You know this fact. We are all adults. There is no need to deceive ourselves and dream of playing house here."
He crossed his arms and looked at her face, his eyes filled with despair and numbness. "Sometimes I really feel like all my sincerity in this life has been given to a dog that I can't tame. I know it's hard to tame, but I keep feeding it over and over again."
Many times when he was alone in Zurich, he thought that he should let her go. There were other girls in the world, and even if he didn't want to fall in love with anyone, he should try to put his heart somewhere else.
But every time, as long as she sent him a WeChat message, as long as she called him, as long as she sent him the slightest signal, no matter what he was doing, no matter who he was with, he would run to her without looking back and wait for her.
Why does love exist in this world? As long as this person exists in his world, he will never be able to forget this person and will never fall in love with anyone else.
Even though his sincerity was trampled upon time and time again, he was left and abandoned time and time again.
She had never heard him say such harsh words to her. He must be extremely angry. Her heart ached. Some words were on the tip of her tongue, but in the end she changed her words.
"Yes, the dog that can't be fed is almost giving your heart back to you completely," she touched her arm, "Jing Ran, it's time for you to set off again."
Jing Ran stared at her motionlessly for a few seconds, then strode past her and out of the bathroom. "Whether I need to leave or not is not your place to comment."
Her heart was in pain, and she followed him out of the bathroom, whispering to his back, "I'll leave in two days."
He took the clothes from the closet and put them on, then took the keys and cell phone beside him, as if he didn't hear what she said at all, and left the house without looking back.
After the loud bang of the door closing, the room was silent again.
Qiu Xin stood there naked, looking at the door, not feeling cold at all. She silently listened to the sound of the car starting and driving away outside the door. After a while, she raised her hand and touched the corner of her eyes.
She felt some water stains.
...
For two consecutive days, Qiu Xin lived alone in this huge house.
Jing Ran never came back after leaving that night. She slept most of the time, occasionally went out to buy some food and cooked it herself, and also spent some time helping him take care of the flowers and plants in the yard.
This is equivalent to a life isolated from the world. She doesn't talk to anyone, doesn't read any news, and locks herself in this house, immersed in the tranquility of being alone.
She thought he would never come back until the day she left completely, but when she woke up on the morning of her departure, she lay in bed and saw a man in a captain's uniform sitting on the sofa in the living room reading a newspaper.
Qiu Xin thought for a moment that she was still dreaming. She rubbed her eyes and pinched herself hard a few times, feeling very painful. Then she got out of bed and walked into the living room woodenly.
Jing Ran, wearing a captain's uniform, sat on the sofa with his long legs crossed. The lines of his profile appeared very soft under the sunlight, but as soon as he heard her movement and looked towards her, the softness on his face completely disappeared.
"...You're back," she looked at his face, which looked even more handsome and dazzling under the clothes, and her heart skipped a beat unconsciously.
It seemed like it was the first time she saw him wearing a uniform. Although they were still arguing, she had to say that the temptation of this uniform was amazing!
The uniform temptation herself said nothing and turned her head back to continue reading the newspaper.
She was disappointed and went back to the bathroom to wash and dress. When she came out, she found a sandwich and a glass of milk on the dining table.
She walked to the dining table and sat down, glancing at Jing Ran who was still reading a newspaper on the sofa. "Is this for me?"
He said "hmm" without turning his head.
She picked up the sandwich, feeling sad, but also inexplicably happy - after all, he was so angry, yet he was still willing to make breakfast for her.
After finishing breakfast, she dragged her suitcase out of the room and saw him standing at the door with the car keys.
Qiu Xin's heart moved, and he walked forward, "Are you going to take me to the airport?"
He walked towards the car coldly and said, "I'm going to work."
"Are you the captain of the flight I'm taking back home?!" Her eyes lit up.
He put her suitcase into the trunk without saying anything. She could clearly see that there was another big box lying next to her suitcase.
He must be the captain of her flight back home!
After getting in the car, she sat in the passenger seat, fastened her seatbelt, blinked at him, and said with a hint of grievance in her voice, "What on earth did you do the past two days? You didn't even go home..."
Jing Ran was driving with sunglasses on. He opened his thin lips and said, "Let's have sex."
She choked, looked at his profile, and raised her eyebrows in disdain, "I don't believe it. If you want to fight, you will only fight with me."
He sneered.
When he arrived at the airport, he parked the car in the underground garage, turned off the engine and prepared to get out to get his luggage. Qiu Xin, who had been holding it in all the way, started to act up again and locked the car again with a "click".
Jing Ran took off his sunglasses, raised his eyebrows and turned to look at her.
Without saying a word, she unbuckled her seat belt, struggled over the handrail and rode directly on him.
"What do you want to do?"
