The burly man ignored her and instead looked at the terrified Xia women in the hall, shouting angrily, "What happened? Where are the guards and other people in this building? Where did they go?"
The Xia women remained huddled in place, some trembling and hiding under the table, others slumped on the ground, staring intently at the bloodstains, their usually numb eyes now showing a hint of confusion.
The strong man was furious at the silence. He ordered his men to check the situation outside and inside the building, and then walked toward the Xia woman who was slumped on the ground by the door.
He kicked the man to the ground and said coldly, "I'm asking you a question. What happened here?"
The woman was kicked to the ground with a heavy kick, but she didn't show any expression on her face and remained silent.
The burly man merely sneered, drew his curved sword from his waist, and mocked, "You've got some nerve, haven't you? I think you're all tired of living."
Having said that, he raised his curved sword and was about to slash at the person on the ground.
At that moment, the woman in the black hood shakily got up from the ground, gripped the curved knife tightly in her hand, and muttered blankly, "Kill, kill them."
As she spoke, she moved closer to the strong man and raised her scimitar again to slash at him.
The burly man merely chuckled and sneered, "You're quite stubborn. Since you're so eager to die, I'll grant your wish."
With that, he plunged a knife deep into the body of the woman in the black hood.
