Chapter 184: If you're not angry, I won't feel pain.
When Sang Qian arrived at the hospital after traveling a long distance, Jin Changyu had already come out of the operating room, but was still unconscious.
In the ward, Sang Qian, holding her stomach, slowly walked to the bedside, trying to calm herself down.
The man lying on the hospital bed had his head wrapped in gauze, his eyes closed, and his face and lips were completely bloodless.
Sang Qian, who had been holding back her tears all the way, finally broke down at this moment.
She had never seen Jin Changyu so weak. Her heart felt like it was being squeezed tightly, and she was in so much pain that she could barely stand.
Seeing her sway, Tang Yuehai and Su Luoluo, who were standing on either side of her, quickly stepped forward to support her.
After helping her sit up on the bedside, Tang Yuehai, who had returned to his hometown with Jin Changyu to rescue people yesterday, said, "Don't worry, the doctor said the blood clot in his brain has been cleared and he's fine. He'll wake up in another hour or two."
"Yes, I know."
Sang Qian wiped away her tears. "I'm fine."
Before she arrived, Da Hai had already told her about the situation on the phone, saying that the surgery was successful, just to put her mind at ease.
“Okay, then you can stay here with him for a while,” Tang Yuehai told her. “Your second uncle is sleeping in the ward right now, you can go see him later.”
"good."
Sang Qian looked up at him, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Da Hai."
"You're being too polite by saying all this."
Sang Qian looked at his haggard face, smiled, and without further formalities, spoke to Su Luoluo beside her.
"Luo Luo, why don't you go and rest with Da Hai for a while?"
He came to rescue people with Jin Changyu. After Jin Changyu's accident, he and Gao Ze handled everything, running around and probably hadn't had a break for a long time.
"good."
After watching the two leave and closing the door, Sang Qian turned back to look at the man on the hospital bed.
She reached out and gently took his hand.
The large, warm, and reassuring hand that always held hers was now icy cold, and Sang Qian couldn't help but wrap her hands around his.
I wanted to pass on my warmth to him.
Seeing his weak and unconscious state, Sang Qian felt a lump in her throat, and at the same time, a surge of emotion and deep guilt welled up in her heart.
She was actually sad and cried because of his departure last night, and she was unhappy because he didn't reply to her messages. Little did she know that he had traveled thousands of miles to help her save her second uncle, putting himself in danger and ultimately causing her to end up like this.
A person of his high status, who is usually protected by bodyguards when he goes out, has never suffered such a serious injury or endured such suffering.
It's all because of her.
He did it for her.

When Jin Changyu regained consciousness, before he even opened his eyes, he felt a warmth coming from his left hand.
His hand was enveloped by a familiar warmth.
His sword-like eyebrows twitched, and he slowly opened his eyes, only to be met with a face that was flushed red, including the eyes and the tip of the nose.
His mind was still a bit foggy and his reactions were slow; he just stared at her blankly.
"You're awake? How are you feeling? Is anything bothering you?"
Sang Qian asked him with a mixture of joy and concern, but he just stared at her blankly without saying a word.
Why does he have that expression?
Why aren't you talking to her?
Could it be... that he has amnesia and doesn't recognize her?
Sang Qian's heart sank.
"Jin Changyu..."
She gripped his hand tighter, her voice trembling with nervousness and worry, "Do...you know who I am?"
Jin Changyu, “?”
After waiting for several seconds without him saying a word, Sang Qian's heart sank to the bottom.
It's over.
He really has amnesia and doesn't remember her.
The tears that had just stopped welled up again.
As Jin Changyu's thoughts gradually cleared, he was shocked as to why Sang Qian was here when he saw her tears falling like broken pearls. His heart tightened, and he struggled to sit up despite his discomfort.
"Qianqian, don't cry."
He hurriedly raised his hand to wipe away her tears.
Sang Qian's sobs choked, and she stared at him blankly, the words that came out of her mouth were filled with confusion and surprise, "You still recognize me?"
Jin Changyu found her silly and naive appearance amusing, and touched her delicate face, "You're my wife, how could I not recognize you?"
Sang Qianxin breathed a sigh of relief, sniffed, and said reproachfully, "Then why didn't you say anything when I asked you earlier?"
"I just... didn't expect you to come."
Jin Changyu held her soft hand, still feeling a little unreal.
He was conscious when he was hit on the head, but only fell into a coma a moment later.
He never expected that the first person he would see when he woke up was the one he most wanted to see.
The moment he opened his eyes, he thought it was a hallucination, which is why he was so disoriented.
"With such a big thing happening at home, how could I not come back?"
Jin Changyu's breath hitched slightly as he looked at her cautiously. "You... you knew?"
He had clearly instructed everyone not to tell her about the situation back home.
"Then how long do you plan to keep this from me?"
Sang Qian feigned anger and gave a light snort, "You even made up a lie about going on a business trip to deceive me."
“I didn’t intend to keep it from you for long. I was just afraid you would worry, so I wanted to confirm Uncle’s condition before telling you.”
Jin Changyu hurriedly explained, "I originally planned to tell you after rescuing my second uncle, but I didn't expect... something unexpected happened later."
"I didn't mean to lie, please don't be angry, okay?"
Seeing his pale and weak face, yet his eyes filled with anxiety and pleading for forgiveness, Sang Qian felt a pang of heartache, and her voice involuntarily softened.
"I'm not angry."
She's not ungrateful; he did so much for her, how could she possibly be angry with him?
Looking at the bandage wrapped around his head, she gently touched it and asked softly, "How are you feeling now? Does it still hurt here?"
Seeing her tender concern for him, Jin Changyu felt a sweet warmth in his heart, and even the dizziness and headache caused by struggling to sit up were completely forgotten.
"If you're not angry, I won't feel pain."
"..."
Looking at the man who looked satisfied even after being hit on the head, Sang Qian was both amused and exasperated, her voice tinged with a hint of coquettishness, "You're such a smooth talker."
"Lie down quickly, the doctor said you need to rest more after you wake up."
She urged him to lie back down, but Jin Changyu refused, saying, "I want to talk to you like this."
"Then lean against the headboard."
Sang Qian was about to get up to put a pillow behind him when Jin Changyu said that he would not let her serve him while she was pregnant. He gently pressed her down to sit and put a pillow behind him himself.
Sitting with his back against the pillows, he held Sang Qian's hand again, staring intently at her, "When did you arrive? How did you find out about this? Did it frighten you and the baby?"
Her second uncle was her dearest and most beloved relative. If she knew that her second uncle was trapped in the deep mountains and his fate was unknown, she would definitely be terrified.
"I heard about this when I woke up this morning from a phone call between Luo Luo and Da Hai. She told me that my second uncle was fine, but you were unconscious and being resuscitated."
Sang Qian looked up at him, then looked down and touched her belly. "How could the baby not be frightened when Daddy had an accident?"
"They were worried about you and moved several times on the way here."
Upon hearing this, Jin Changyu's eyes welled up with tears. He gently stroked her pregnant belly, as if speaking to the baby:
Don't worry, Daddy's fine.
He slowly raised his eyes to look at her. "And you? Were you scared too?"
Sang Qian looked up and met a pair of eager black eyes, which seemed to hold a single sentence:
Are you also worried about me?
