Hong Fu's Transaction
The news of Hong Fu's arrest was like a bombshell, causing a huge uproar in the business world of Yuncheng.
Taking this opportunity, the Feng Group held a grand press conference.
As the spokesperson, Assistant Wang presented a clear and logical account, providing irrefutable evidence, to all media outlets, revealing the inside story of this vicious business competition orchestrated by Hong Fu against the Feng Group.
Those business tycoons who had previously "betrayed" the company also came forward one after another, tearfully recounting how they had been "bewitched" by Hong Fu, and announced on the spot that they would re-sign a deeper strategic cooperation agreement with the Feng Group.
A massive crisis that could have overturned the Feng Group was transformed by Feng Jinxuan into a highly effective and free positive corporate image campaign.
The group's stock price surged in response.
All rumors about the "Feng Group's impending collapse" have been debunked.
Feng Jinxuan, this young business tycoon, also used this brilliant comeback to thoroughly establish his unshakeable authority within the group.
Yu Jinli watched the man on TV, who was calm and eloquent under the flashing lights, and felt a sense of pride and honor.
No wonder he's her idol!
He looks incredibly cool when he's focused on his career!
However, a huge shadow still lurks behind this victory.
Hong Fu has been arrested.
But she refused to say anything.
...
In a highly confidential private interrogation room on the outskirts of the city, controlled by the Feng Group's security department.
The lights were cold, and the air felt as oppressive as lead.
Attorney Zhang Deshuai walked out of the interrogation room, took off his glasses, and wearily pinched the bridge of his nose.
“President Feng,” she shook her head at Feng Jinxuan, who was waiting outside, “this woman is a tough nut to crack. I used every legal interrogation technique, but she wouldn’t utter a single word.”
"Her psychological defenses were stronger than any corporate spy I've ever met. It was as if... something was supporting her."
Feng Jinxuan looked at the woman behind the one-way glass, who was wearing a gray prison uniform but still sitting upright, even with a hint of seductive smile. A cold glint flashed in his dark eyes.
“I know,” he said. “Ordinary methods won’t work on her.”
"Attorney Zhang, thank you for your hard work. Leave the rest to me."
Attorney Zhang was stunned for a moment, then realized what was going on.
She nodded, asked no further questions, and turned to leave with her team.
She knew that some things had gone beyond the scope of the law.
Feng Jinxuan pushed open the door and walked into the cold interrogation room.
Without saying a word, he sat down in the metal chair opposite Hong Fu.
Between the two was a similarly cold metal table.
Hong Fu looked at him and suddenly smiled.
“President Feng,” her voice was slightly husky and sexy, “what? Attorney Zhang has run out of options, so it’s your turn to personally ‘torture’ me?”
"I'm really looking forward to seeing how you, Mr. Feng, will 'interrogate' me."
She deliberately used the word "torture" in an extremely ambiguous way.
Feng Jinxuan ignored her provocation.
He simply pushed a document gently in front of her.
That was the evidence against her, a thick stack of papers, enough to send her to jail for life.
“Zhao Hong,” he called her by her real name for the first time, “Where are your accomplices? Where is the Shadow Devouring Sect’s stronghold in Cloud City? Who is your next target?”
Hong Fu didn't even glance at the document.
She simply observed the man before her with great interest.
"Want to know?" She licked her slightly chapped red lips, a gesture that was still incredibly alluring. "Sure."
"If you agree to one condition, I can not only tell you these things, but I can even... help you deal with our sect leader."
Feng Jinxuan's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Don't be so quick to refuse, President Feng." Hong Fu smiled even more broadly, like a fox that had spotted a weakness in its prey. "Aren't you curious? Why would our Shadow Devouring Sect go to such lengths to deal with a small family like yours, the Feng family?"
"Aren't you curious? Why would your cousin, Feng Jinhong, rather die than betray us?"
"Aren't you curious? Why does that little koi fish next to you have such a magical 'purifying' effect on your bad luck?"
Each of her questions was like a precise hammer, striking the most sensitive spot in Feng Jinxuan's heart.
“President Feng,” she leaned forward slightly, her voice filled with a wicked allure, “do you think your meeting with her was a coincidence?”
Do you really think she's just an innocent little koi fish that happened to bump into you?
"Let me tell you a secret."
She looked at Feng Jinxuan and, word by word, clearly uttered a name that shook the heavens and earth.
"Tianyan Pavilion".
Feng Jinxuan's pupils suddenly contracted!
He had heard of that name before.
Grandpa mentioned it to him in the study!
"It seems you know," Hong Fu said, looking at his reaction with satisfaction. "That makes things easier."
"That little koi fish next to you is no ordinary stray cat or dog."
“She is the top-tier ‘sacred item’ that even our sect leader has been eyeing for many years…”
"You want to protect her?" Hong Fu's eyes turned crazed and fervent. "Your worldly power and money alone are not enough."
"You have no idea what kind of being you are about to face!"
A long silence fell over the interrogation room.
Feng Jinxuan stared silently at the seemingly insane woman before him, without saying a word.
But inside his heart, a storm was brewing.
He knew that Hong Fu was not lying.
Every word she spoke was like a key, unlocking many mysteries he couldn't understand before.
It was like a lock, locking his and Yu Jinli's fate into a more dangerous and unknown abyss.
After a long silence, he finally spoke, his voice hoarse.
"Your conditions."
“It’s simple.” A victorious smile appeared on Hong Fu’s face. “I want to see her.”
"I want to see with my own eyes that... interesting little koi fish next to you."
The aura surrounding Feng Jinxuan instantly turned cold.
“Impossible.” He refused outright.
"Don't be in such a hurry," Hong Fu said nonchalantly. "I just want to see her, I'm not going to eat her. Maybe I'll even tell her some secrets about her own background that even you don't know?"
These words struck Feng Jinxuan like a bolt of lightning.
Looking at Hong Fu's confident and malicious expression, he felt a slight wavering in his heart.
Seeing this, Hong Fu knew that she had grasped his weakness.
She stopped looking at him.
She simply raised her head, her gaze seemingly piercing through the cold one-way glass, and saw someone she couldn't see.
She glanced at the security camera, licked her alluring red lips, and whispered in a seductive, almost dreamlike voice:
"Little koi fish, are you watching?"
"I just want to ask you in person..."
"Do you know... what the Holy Maiden of Tianyan Pavilion tastes like?"
