Looking up at the haunted house she was in, Mu Chuchu noticed that it was shrouded in a barrier.
It is because of this barrier that she is trapped here.
However, while this barrier might be terrifying to ordinary people, Mu Chuchu found it incredibly fragile. She could break it with a flick of her finger and leave immediately.
But Mu Chuchu didn't want to do that. Instead, she looked up at the ceiling.
She also heard the sound from upstairs and was certain that there was someone in the room on the second floor.
With a gentle smile, Mu Chuchu calmly walked towards the second floor.
This house hadn't been lived in for at least several decades, and the remaining furniture was covered in a thick layer of dust. Mu Chuchu quickly found the stairs leading to the second floor.
The stairs had been in disrepair for a long time, creaking loudly as you stepped on them. Mu Chuchu calmly went up to the second floor and then to the room where the incident had just occurred.
The door to the room was ajar, and it was pitch black inside, so you couldn't see what was inside. You could only feel a cold wind blowing out.
Mu Chuchu clearly felt that the cold wind was actually yin energy. Her expression was indifferent, and she was about to push open the door when a pale hand suddenly reached out from the crack in the door and tightly gripped her ankle.
The hand with red nail polish was as cold as ice. Then, jet-black hair poured out from the crack in the door like water, and a female ghost with a bloodstained face and half of her face rotted out.
The female ghost was terrifying. Her empty eyes had no pupils, only two dark holes. Her left cheek was festering and emitted a foul odor. Maggots slithered in and out of her mouth. Beneath her lips, which resembled rotten flesh, were stark white teeth. She moved her mouth slightly, emitting a harsh and dry laugh, "Finally caught you, hee hee hee..."
If it were an ordinary person, they would have screamed in fright at this scene.
But Mu Chuchu remained calm, looking down at the female ghost with a detached expression.
The female ghost was completely bewildered.
Is this girl terrified? Why isn't she making a sound?
The female ghost was very dissatisfied. Her neck suddenly stretched to an abnormal length, and her hideous face shot close to Mu Chuchu. "Scream for me!!"
Mu Chuchu frowned in disgust, raised her hand and slapped the female ghost across the face, sending her flying.
"Awooo—!" The female ghost's illusory body spun twice in the air before landing heavily on the ground, letting out a pig-like wail.
"If you're so ugly, don't get so close to me." Mu Chuchu waved her hand dismissively, kicked open the door, and calmly walked into the room.
Inside the room, the female ghost covered her face, trembling, "You actually managed to hit me? That's impossible!"
It's a ghost! It has no physical form! How could Mu Chuchu, an ordinary person, possibly hit her?
"Looks like I've been living too low-key. Even a brat like you dares to jump around in front of me." Mu Chuchu didn't know that the necklace around her neck was sealing off her demonic aura. At this moment, she had a thought, and a huge, illusory fox shadow flashed past behind her.
Even though Mu Chuchu didn't reveal her demonic aura, this phantom was enough to terrify the female ghost.
"I'll fight you to the death!" The female ghost looked at Mu Chuchu's pretty face, her aura suddenly surged, she gritted her teeth, and like a wild wolf, pounced on Mu Chuchu with all her might.
The chilling aura caused a thin layer of ice to form in the air, and the female ghost swelled to a height of over three meters, rushing straight towards Mu Chuchu!
