Chapter 99 Mu Chuchu's voice came from the room on the second floor.

A blurry human figure was vaguely captured in the shot.

Before everyone could see clearly, a large snowflake suddenly appeared on the screen, obscuring the normal view. All that could be heard was the woman's crying, which became even sharper and more shrill, mixed with the screams and running sounds of the staff.

Lan Hai was so frightened she almost dropped the camera, but she couldn't bear to part with the money, so she quickly and fearfully turned it off.

"Xiao Hai, I can sense something in this haunted house. I think we shouldn't take any risks and should stop filming for now." Hua Chen was tightly gripping the protective necklace around her neck. "I have a very bad feeling..."

Lan Hai knew Hua Chen well and was very sensitive about this kind of thing. Plus, everyone was quite frightened, and even she herself was a little overwhelmed. She quickly nodded, "Then I think we should go back for now..."

Gu Xuan stared at the camera, still somewhat incredulous. She looked up and around, but couldn't find Mu Chuchu.

Come to think of it, Mu Chuchu seems to have been absent since just now.

"Chuchu, what are you doing standing there? Come back right now!" Shen Yi's anxious voice rang out, causing everyone to turn their heads and look towards the haunted house.

Mu Chuchu, dressed in a red dress, was standing outside the haunted house. Like a curious child, she craned her neck to look inside, her eyes filled with excitement. She turned to greet Gu Xuan, "Sister Xuan, I've never seen a ghost before. I'll go in and take a look."

"Mu Chuchu! Are you crazy?!" Gu Xuan rushed over in a hurry.

Seeing Mu Chuchu standing at the door, and no one stopping her, she slipped into the haunted house.

Then, the door on the inside of the haunted house slammed shut with a loud bang.

Gu Xuan was so angry she was practically fuming. She raised her fist and started pounding on the door. "Mu Chuchu! You've really grown bold! You dare to close the door now? Open it for me!"

The door in front of her was clearly old and dilapidated and should have been very fragile, but it withstood Gu Xuan's fist. Not only that, the rusty lock was stuck tight, and no matter how hard Gu Xuan tried, she couldn't pull it open.

Gu Xuan felt a little panicked. She wasn't afraid of ghosts, but if there really was something strange in the house, wouldn't Mu Chuchu be in great danger all by herself?

Hua Chen and the others rushed over, but they couldn't open the door no matter what they did. They stamped their feet in frustration, "Has this woman gone mad? I already told her there are bad things here! She still insists on going in! What's so interesting about ghosts?!"

"Get out of the way, I'll break down the door," Shen Yi said, already preparing to find something to smash the door.

Looking around, Shen Yi hadn't found anything suitable to use to break down the door when Mu Chuchu's voice suddenly came from the room on the second floor.

"Brother Shen, I'm fine. You guys wait for me downstairs. I'll be right down." After saying this, Mu Chuchu fell silent again.

Hua Chen frowned. "Why is Mu Chuchu walking so fast? She's already on the second floor in just two or three minutes?"

Everyone fell silent after hearing this, their expressions growing even more grim.

"Mr. Shen, call the crew over and start banging on the door." Gu Xuan glanced up at the room on the second floor, a vague sense of unease creeping over her. "I have a feeling that it wasn't Chu Chu's voice just now..."

Gu Xuan's guess was indeed correct, because Mu Chuchu didn't even go up to the second floor. She was standing at the front door, but she could hear Gu Xuan and the others' voices, while Gu Xuan and the others couldn't hear their voices.
