Upon entering, Mu Chuchu was immediately struck by He Lengqian's stunning good looks. She couldn't help but exclaim that Uncle He's appearance was truly remarkable.
She couldn't help but take another deep breath of the demonic aura lingering in the air. Wearing high heels and carrying a coffee, Mu Chuchu walked over to He Lengqian and stood beside him.
"Didn't I tell you not to bother me?" Without giving Mu Chuchu a chance to put down her coffee cup, He Lengqian said coldly without even looking up, "Get out."
This was the first time Mu Chuchu had been treated this way by He Lengqian, and she was stunned. She stared blankly at He Lengqian for a moment, then forcefully put down the coffee cup in her hand.
With a crisp sound, He Lengqian narrowed his eyes dangerously.
She's just a secretary, how dare she do that?
Just as He Lengqian was about to explode, Mu Chuchu whimpered aggrievedly, "Uncle He, I came here to be your secretary according to your requirements, and you start yelling at me right away, what do you mean by that?"
Upon hearing the familiar voice, He Lengqian looked up at Mu Chuchu in surprise. "It's you?"
"Who else could it be but me? Uncle He, did you find other girls to be your secretaries?" Mu Chuchu said, looking at He Lengqian with a wronged expression, as if she would throw a tantrum if He Lengqian dared to nod.
Hearing this, He Lengqian shook his head. "No."
Seeing that Mu Chuchu was still not satisfied, He Lengqian continued, "There's only you."
Seeing that He Lengqian was speaking seriously and didn't seem to be lying, Mu Chuchu was satisfied. "That's more like it. Here, I made you some coffee. Try it."
Seeing Mu Chuchu bring him the brewed coffee, He Lengqian couldn't refuse, so he nodded, took the coffee, and took a sip.
That one bite almost made He Lengqian spit it out.
So sweet.
The bitterness and sweetness of the black coffee are completely mixed together, along with the taste of a lot of milk. They are all mixed together, each overpowering the other, making it impossible to maintain a delicate balance. It is too stimulating and makes people subconsciously want to vomit.
He Lengqian swallowed the coffee with great difficulty. Although his face remained expressionless from beginning to end, Mu Chuchu still noticed something was amiss.
"What's wrong? Is it bitter?" Mu Chuchu looked at He Lengqian uneasily, then scratched her head in confusion. "That's strange. I clearly put in a lot of milk and sugar. It shouldn't be bitter anymore."
"Why add so much milk and sugar?" He Lengqian frowned and asked Mu Chuchu.
Mu Chuchu said matter-of-factly, "Because coffee is too bitter! How can you drink it without sugar and milk?"
He Lengqian was speechless.
Seeing He Lengqian's silence, Mu Chuchu seemed to suddenly remember something and said, "Oh, I remember now, Uncle He, you like to drink bitter coffee. When we were at Lanshan Villa, you never added sugar or milk to it."
Seeing that He Lengqian was still holding the cup of coffee, Mu Chuchu smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry, Uncle He, I accidentally forgot about it. Otherwise, could you give me the coffee cup? I don't need this one, I'll make you a new one."
As she spoke, Mu Chuchu reached for the coffee cup in He Lengqian's hand.
But to everyone's surprise, He Lengqian shook his head, refused Mu Chuchu's offer, and then, right in front of her, drank the entire cup of coffee, which was difficult for him to swallow, in one gulp.
