Mu Chuchu's eyes widened in surprise when she saw this, and she quickly poured a glass of water and handed it to He Lengqian. After He Lengqian finished drinking it, she smiled awkwardly and said, "Uncle He, don't worry, I will remember your preferences next time."
"Mm." He Lengqian nodded, put the water glass aside, and then gestured to the chair next to him.
Mu Chuchu quickly moved a chair next to He Lengqian.
"Sit down." After saying that, He Lengqian withdrew his gaze and continued to work diligently.
Mu Chuchu: "???"
What's going on?
Mu Chuchu sat down looking bewildered, then glanced at He Lengqian and asked, "Uncle He, is there anything I can do for you?"
"I'll let you know when you need coffee." He Lengqian continued flipping through some documents on the table without looking up, causing Mu Chuchu to tilt her head slightly.
What do you mean? Wasn't she supposed to be here as a secretary?
A secretary's job can't just be making coffee, can it?
Mu Chuchu had never been a secretary before and didn't know what a secretary should do, so she could only sit at the desk and watch He Lengqian work, occasionally going to pour him some coffee, until it was time to leave work in the evening.
After get off work, He Lengqian said he would take Mu Chuchu out for a nice meal.
There was no reason for Mu Chuchu to refuse, and she nodded her little head vigorously, "Uncle He, what shall we eat?"
"You'll find out when you get there." Remembering that Mr. Ou was still in the secretary's office, He Lengqian glanced at Mu Chuchu and said, "You go and wait for me at the company entrance."
Mu Chuchu was very obedient. She nodded in agreement with He Lengqian and took the elevator downstairs first.
He Lengqian quickly went to find Lao Ou.
Old Ou was chatting happily with his young and beautiful secretary when he saw He Lengqian arrive. He waved to He Lengqian warmly and said, "Lengqian, come on over! You've come at the perfect time. I just told your beautiful secretaries that we're going out for dinner together tonight. You're free anyway, why don't you come with us?"
However, to Lao Ou's surprise, as soon as he finished speaking, the two young female secretaries who had been very enthusiastic towards him stood up and bowed respectfully to He Lengqian, "Sir, if there's nothing else, we'll head back now."
With a wave of his hand, He Lengqian's gesture was enough to sway not only the two beautiful secretaries but also the other secretaries in the office, who all obediently left without daring to waste any time.
After those pretty girls left, Old Ou's heart sank to the ground. He glared angrily at He Lengqian, "Look at you! You can talk all you want, but you had to scare away my two pretty girls. Now who am I supposed to have dinner with tonight? You, of course?"
He Lengqian dismissed it, saying, "I don't have time."
Upon hearing this, Old Ou was so angry that his nose almost twisted out of shape. He gave He Lengqian a disdainful look, clearly not wanting to argue with him.
“I have something important to tell you.” He Lengqian stood in front of Lao Ou and said with a cold aura, “I need you to keep an eye on the people of the Serpent Clan and the Fox Clan. Both sides must be targeted and neither side can be let go.”
After hearing He Lengqian's words, Old Ou looked at He Lengqian speechlessly and asked, "What are you trying to do?"
