Chapter 6 The Third Sister Smashes the Courtyard

Song Yue sneered: "Ling Yi is a guard I brought with me, he doesn't belong to the Duke of Jingguo's mansion. As long as you beg for mercy, I'll have Ling Yi release you, how about that?"

"Don't even think about it!" Song Hengchuan valued his reputation highly. How could the eldest son of the Duke's mansion apologize to a mere guard?

He reached for his waist, pulled out a sharp dagger, and thrust it toward Ling Yi's vital point with a cold glint in his eyes. Ling Yi dodged it nimbly and at the same time punched Song Hengchuan in the chest.

puff!

Song Hengchuan suffered internal injuries, and blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.

He stared intently at Song Yue, and said angrily, "Men! Attack her! Show no mercy!"

A dozen or so guards rushed forward.

Song Yue originally thought that Song Hengchuan was just a little selfish and self-interested, but she didn't expect him to be so despicable and shameless. A dozen guards were all holding swords, and their posture was not to teach her a lesson, but to take her life.

Ling Yi moved like a ghost, and the dozen or so guards were no match for him, being sent flying with lightning speed.

In less than the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, the room returned to silence.

There were only corpses lying haphazardly on the ground.

Granny Zhang and her maids were dumbfounded.

Song Hengchuan narrowed his eyes and stared at Ling Yi: "Just who are you?!"

Ling Yi did not respond, and stood behind Song Yue with her eyes lowered.

Song Yue raised her chin and said disdainfully, "Useless!"

"You!" Song Hengchuan was so angry that his head was buzzing, and his fists were clenched so tightly that they cracked.

When the old lady entered the room, she saw the mess on the floor. Her face darkened. When Zhang Mama saw the old lady arrive, she knelt down with a thud: "Old lady, please save me!"

Yuan Fuling was also quite frightened by this scene, and she frowned.

"Sister Yue, it was Grandmother who asked you to move to Yuhan Courtyard. Even if you're not satisfied, you don't have to smash all of these things, do you?" Song Yao scolded.

The old lady's expression upon hearing this was predictable.

“Mother, since Yue’er wants to move to Yuehua Pavilion, I will pack it up immediately,” Yuan Fuling said cautiously.

“Grandmother, she’s a madwoman. Keeping her in the manor will only bring trouble sooner or later. In my opinion, she should be sent away immediately,” Song Hengchuan said.

The Dowager Lady took a deep breath, looking at Song Yue with an unusually calm expression: "What explanation do you have?"

Song Yue, abandoning her previous arrogance, said aggrievedly, "If no one welcomes my return, I can leave tonight."

"How could you accuse someone of being the guilty party first?" Song Yao said disdainfully. This uncultured country girl really thought that playing the victim would work.

"Continue!" the old lady said in a calm tone, listening to the whole story.

Song Yao reluctantly shut her mouth.

Song Yue pointed at Zhang Mama: "I stepped on the wool carpet when I came in, and Zhang Mama punished me by making me reflect on my actions. She forbade me from eating dinner tonight and said I was a bastard without a mother and didn't deserve such an expensive carpet..."
