Chapter 6 The Third Sister Smashes the Courtyard

Song Yue tiptoed and rubbed hard on the wool carpet until she created a swirl in it.

"You!" Granny Zhang's eyes widened.

“It’s just a blanket, why are you yelling at me like that? It seems that Aunt Yuan has been too negligent in caring for these slaves all these years.”

The words "Aunt Yuan" and "slave" left Zhang Mama dumbfounded.

The Third Miss dared to slander the Madam like that.

"Third Miss, how can you be so ill-mannered? This old servant is only thinking of you. The villa is not as casual as the Duke of Jingguo's mansion. If you embarrass the Duke's mansion and get punished, don't blame this old servant for not reminding you." Granny Zhang continued her incessant lecturing.

Song Yue bent down and sat down, glancing at the teacup on the coffee table; it was completely empty.

There was a layer of dust on the table, which clearly indicated that it hadn't been cleaned properly.

Or perhaps, they simply didn't take her seriously at all.

"Third Miss has broken a taboo, so this old servant will punish her by not allowing her to have dinner tonight. She can eat again when she has reflected on her mistake and realized it."

Granny Zhang used to treat her the same way.

He would starve her, frequently threaten her, and sometimes humiliate her by putting something in her food and forcing her to kneel on the ground and lick it.

Memories flooded my mind.

Song Yue took a deep breath.

Sometimes, being careful and cautious doesn't earn you understanding from others; instead, it can embolden them.

main hall

The Dowager dismissed the maid, glanced at Yuan Fuling who looked aggrieved, and said patiently, "These are extraordinary times. Who knows when the Emperor might want to see her? She has suffered a lot of injustices outside. Please be more accommodating."

Hearing this, Yuan Fuling felt as if she had eaten bitter herbs.

She had endured ten years of hardship to achieve her current status, but Song Yue's return reopened old wounds. How could she not hate her?

“Grandmother, Yue’s sister is unruly. She’s already turned the manor upside down since she came back. She hit me, talked back to Mother, and didn’t even respect my eldest brother. What will become of her in the future?” Song Yao said with displeasure, suggesting that she be sent to the estate.

Song Hengchuan nodded in agreement.

"She's too wild."

If it weren't for the fact that they were siblings, he would have beaten that shameless woman to death.

The Dowager Madam was certainly not willing for Song Yue to stay in the mansion.

Especially since Song Yue mentioned Princess Jia Hua repeatedly today, the Grand Madam wished she could send her away immediately.

However, the Northern Chu Emperor's attitude was unclear, and for the sake of the Jingguo Duke's Mansion, the Grand Madam could only force herself to endure it: "Now is not the time to send them away, let's wait a little longer."

"But..." Song Yao was about to say something more when a scream came from outside the door, startling everyone.

"Madam, no, something terrible has happened! The Third Young Lady has smashed up the Jade Lotus Courtyard!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the old lady's vision went black. She gripped the handrail tightly and stood up, asking in a deep voice, "What exactly happened?"

Yuan Fuling, who was standing to the side, felt a sudden sense of foreboding.

Song Hengchuan gritted his teeth and rushed out: "We must get rid of this troublemaker today!"

Gyokuhan-in

Song Yue stepped on Zhang Mama's face, looking down at her condescendingly: "I am the master, you are the slave, how dare you lecture me?"

They even dared to punish her by not letting her eat.

act recklessly!

"Third Miss is really ignorant of the rules. This old servant will definitely report to the Grand Madam," Zhang Mama shouted, her face full of resentment.

Song Yue raised her hand, bent down and squatted down, a half-smile on her face: "Aunt Yuan sent Granny Fang and Granny Tan to the other courtyard to pick me up. Rumors are circulating that they were burned to death. Can you guess how they actually died?"

Granny Zhang was suddenly stunned. She looked up at Song Yue's murderous eyes and shuddered: "How...how did she die?"

No, that's impossible. Song Yue was a fool in the villa, bullied by everyone. How could she possibly have killed two old women?

"One of them had his heart ripped out by my own hands and died in excruciating pain. The other was knocked unconscious by me and put in a fire, where he was burned to a crisp," Song Yue said casually, as if she were talking about something very ordinary.

Granny Zhang was taken aback.

Song Yue slowly stood up, finding the furnishings in the room somewhat jarring, and walked towards the vases on the antique shelf.

Under the watchful eyes of several maids.

Pick it up, then smash it down.

Bang!

The vase was broken into several pieces.

The group was astonished.

That wasn't all; Song Yue then smashed all the porcelain pieces.

Crackle, crackle.

Before long, the house was a complete mess.

Granny Zhang hurriedly got up, staring at Song Yue in shock as if she were looking at some monster, and winked at one of the maids to report the news.

Song Yue chuckled but didn't stop them. After seeing that the room was almost completely smashed, she sat down with satisfaction.

Soon Song Hengchuan's figure appeared before them.

He stared in disbelief at the mess in the room, his heart pounding, and then he roared in fury: "Song Yue!"

Song Hengchuan had never seen such a bold and reckless woman. In his memory, his sister should be like Yao Yao, knowledgeable, reasonable, gentle and charming.

He charged towards Song Yue, a murderous glint in his eyes.

It was genuine murderous intent.

Song Yue truly felt it. She raised her eyebrows and, without giving any instructions, Ling Yi stepped in front of Song Hengchuan. Song Hengchuan was already seething with anger because his whip had been destroyed.

His blood boiled, and he swung his fist at Ling Yi: "You're asking for death!"

"Ling Yi, fight back!" Song Yue shouted.

Ling Yi quickly raised his hand and gripped Song Hengchuan's fist tightly. Song Hengchuan's expression changed slightly, and he gritted his teeth to keep from making a sound.

"How dare you! I am the master and you are the servant! How dare you defy your superior!" Song Hengchuan roared.
